That's great news!! Being, though, that I still believe that Westfall placed that comment under the initial article about the child being safe at Nana's, I have to wonder if he'll taunt LE through the FB site.

He seems to be quite the trickster. Fancies himself as much, at least.

I do wonder if he known the little girl family?
 
It's surely possible but I have a feeling that he just snatched a little girl at random. I'm very worried that he's going to do it again before he gets caught. IRRC he was identified by the van he was driving.

This guy is sick! There's nothing reasonable about him or sane. The family does not know him and the people that do know him say he is like Jeckle and Hyde (i know spelling is probably wrong). He's demented! I believe someone around the town is hiding him or he is long gone. If someone is helping him then they are as sick as him!

Sued by a tire center? What? He didn't pay for his wheels?

It's mentioned he probably wouldn't be using his debit card or credit card. I'm betting this guy has neither. A welfare card possibly but that's about it. Although they could track him by that so heck yeah someoe is helping him.

Nix that. He'd have had dental work if he got public assitance. Man, that's the thing will have him identified. His missing teeth. People notice that.

Again and it's JMO there's no way this guy would kill himself. He has some superior attitude. He's a con.

Let's review though. In his one profile he said he'd visited such and such a place. That all didn't show up on a search so he may have been lying.

Also the deaths of his wife and was it her sister? Man, this guy now I think 100% had something to do with that.

Miss Izzy I agree you are on to something there with that comment from get go!

Wonder why he used that name though? Maybe him and that "feants" had a code word or code name? That's how he knew to let her know he was still out there. Yepper, Nana whoever that is can be holing him up.
 
I have no idea what happened. I thought the story was to be on AMW tonight. Guess I was wrong. I didn't watch it but I taped it and before I could watch it I was told this story wasn't on. So sorry for the misinformation.
 
So, I took that poster's name from the very first new article posted on this thread. Nobody by that name comes up in the whole US. However, if you just search for just the last name, a female who is 26 comes up in Mt. Airy, 100 miles away.
 
That poor terrifed baby. They have GOT to catch this piece of human garbage before he acts out again.
 
Hmm, MissIzz, I actually found a picture in a flickr album by that name. Am I allowed to post the link though?

Edited: I've learned through a series of searches that the person of the same last name you found in MD but she lives in GA now. Not sure if they are related to the freak who kidnapped the little girl.
 
I see a 26 year old young woman who has lived in Mt. Airy, MD and Rome, GA with that last name. I must be missing it. I can see her photo on her school site. I can't see anything on FB as I'm not a member. I wonder how this woman could be linked to Westfall.

And no, I don't think we are ever allowed to link to children's photos. I'll keep searching but I haven't found the link between Westfall and the child yet. IIRC, he said something in one of his "biographies" of being married to one woman for a while and then being apart from her your years--possibly while he was married to the woman who died so young, as well as her sisters. They've recently reconnected. Maybe that's where the connection is. I'm just pleased that the little guy was safe. I wonder if Westfall took him with permission or just grabbed him too.
 
I'm thinking he probably had permission for the little boy, simply because he was in a car seat. I would think if just grabbed him, he wouldn't have had the car seat.
 
The little boy was a grandson of someone he was friends with (or whatever you call it) and the van he was driving was his friends cuz from what I understand she knew or let him use it. Of course she had no idea what the heck is was going to do with it ( I sure hope not ). The little boy did tell his family that they picked up a little girl but after that they said he was scared to death to say anymore. God only knows what Westfall said to that little boy. Westfall has messed both the little girls and the little boys life up forever. Cuz even though he didn't do anything physically to the boy, just seeing what he did to the little girl is enough.

Izzy, that female I believe got married. She now has a different last name. Also I see what SFB Nancy Drew meant.

I don't think that little message is in regards to anything to do with the child he had in the car with him. Plus Green Eyes pretty much explained that to us.

However, I think it's a message from that EF person letting people know that her own kid is O.K. The lady with the Flikr account is a grandmom as well. Appears the grands are her world. Well, from pics that is. Also Jaye may be short for Jason.

To add more to it Westfall lived in California at one time. There's more people by that name in California than here. In Maryland they're all in Baltimore mostly.

Plus Plus Plus Plus the chick with that name that EF she's on a police site. Like one of those "Say something nice about so and so". Don't make her a cop, but who knows?
 
greeneyes, how do you know that? Do you have a link or is this personal knowledge? Even if it was a friend, IF it's the same boy, it's incredibly creepy that someone posted his wereabouts before the suspect was even named. Someone knew what had happened.
 
Just found EF on a classmates type site and she graduated HS with that name. I'm assuming F is her maiden name and that she gave it to her son. Which would make figuring out who the father is all but impossible. She is definitely from MD. Perhaps her mother is a friends with Westfall?
 
The theft of the dead child's remains and coffin is awful. That family must be terribly distraught. I have to agree that Westfall would be drawn to something like this....considering the name of his book and his interests.

Have there been any other graves raided in this manner in that general area? And once again it's a young girl. This is so frightening. Westfall must have help. He's too large and obvious with his missing teeth. He would have been caught be now, IMO. He's probably hiding out my day and traveling at night. And possibly digging.


And I have to agree with Nancy Drew, it's just beyond weird that that comment was posted when it was. Has anyone looked at the time stamp? I'm not sure it's the same for me as I'm on the west coast. Can someone check out the time the crime was reported compared to the comment time stamp.

I'm guessing it would be best for someone on the east coast to check this out as I assume it comes to me with the time changed to PDT.
