Thank you summer breeze, that was my first thread ever!

Amanda Wallace is still desperately seeking answers as to why her 36-year-old husband seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth one evening in February.

For the last several months, the Fredericton woman has been living in a vacuum, not knowing what happened to her spouse or if he'll return home.

"It's been difficult," Wallace said Tuesday.

"During the course of collecting more information, Craven discovered that witnesses had seen Wallace on Thursday near his vehicle, and on the road next to Simpson’s Pond.

“Summer residences and outbuildings, a local walking trail, and around the pond and a wooded area nearby were searched,” Craven said in an e-mail to the BDN. Wardens also interviewed local workers who said they had seen a person matching Wallace’s description Friday, the day that his vehicle was reported abandoned."

I cannot seem to find any follow up information on this case...still missing?, etc.

There is no NAMUS profile for Torray Wallace.

There is no entry on North American Missing persons (NAMPN.org)

I cannot find him on any missing person webpage except websleuths and unsolvedcanada.ca

There are still a few news articles about his disappearance but some of those are getting archived and not readily accessible.

Stats: Wallace is described as being a black male with glasses, 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, yellow hooded sweat shirt, black jacket and brown work pants.

Another board made reference to Wallace's internet marketing type business practices. There are videos on the web (4) at this site under the name Torray Wallace, and the image appears to be him. The username is ezcashondemand.

Torray Wallace remains a missing person.

Summer Breeze's article by Michael Staples appears to be the most recent article. I wish this reporter would do a follow up. It would be nice to know if the Border agents have a record of the day he crossed into the US (with a passport?)

I would also like to know where the last sighting was of him on the Friday (Feb25) when local workers saw a man matching his description. I assume this means he was not in the state park but in the community?

Has there been any activity on his bank accounts since 2011?

A search of the Fredericton Police website for Torray returned no results. It seems that this man's missing status is sort of caught in limbo between two countries. He was last seen in Maine. The US authorities completed the search and handed the case back over to the Canadians. Source:"US investigation of missing man handed back to Canadian authorities" found at http://bangordailynews.com/2011/03/...e-bluffs-handed-back-to-canadian-authorities/

Neither country has him listed as missing on national databases (Namus nor the Canadian version). He is not listed as missing on his hometown's police webpage. He does not even have a facebook missing page.

Was he found? Has he shown up in MD where his family all lives? Apparently he is a web designer and he was unemployed and left looking for work. He crossed the border at Calais Maine at 11:30 pm (on either Tuesday Feb 22, or Wed Feb 23 (the article has conflicting info). Well, that answers on question I had: how he entered the US.

"When asked if Wallace could have left the area of the park, leaving his car behind, Mooney said, “No information has put Mr. Wallace beyond Roque Bluffs.” "Interviews with people near the park revealed that several people spotted Wallace in the park on Thursday, Feb. 24, and that he was sort of wandering around, not making any sense."

Well, that is very disturbing, and answers my second question somewhat as to whether or not h was seen in the Maine community or just in the state park.

His parents and extended family live in Baltimore. He "moved to Pennsylvania a few years ago, bought a house and met his wife through the church he was attending. He later moved to Fredericton" according to his cousin who was quoted in this article:
http://bangordailynews.com/2011/03/...e-bluffs-handed-back-to-canadian-authorities/

He was an only child. He was a wife and children who live in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
