Search Resumes Sunday For Body Of Caylee Anthony:
Saturday, November 8, 2008 – updated: 12:37 pm EST November 9, 2008

<snipped>
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Volunteers gathered again Sunday morning to continue the search for Caylee Anthony's body.
Sunday morning, a much smaller crowd of volunteers showed up for the effort, with less than 500 at the command center by 9:30am.
Saturday’s search for Caylee's remains ended in disappointment, not only because she wasn’t found, but the crowd of searchers was smaller than expected.
Those that did show up Sunday had high hopes of finding Caylee's body. Many hugged each other after a morning prayer led by RG, whose son at one time was engaged to the missing girl's mother, the now jailed Casey A.

RG said that he considered Caylee family.

"I'm an old New York Italian. When I make you part of my family, you stay part of my family, so Caylee's still part of my family."

Updates From Search For Caylee Marie:
EquuSearch To Focus On 25-Square Mile Area
POSTED: 6:12 am EST November 7, 2008
UPDATED: 5:26 pm EST November 9, 2008

<snipped>
The deputy director of Texas Equusearch said Sunday morning that they are still in need of volunteers for the search. MA said they're also in need of food and water for the searchers and volunteers.

Teams search 2/3 of the areas they wanted to search on Sunday. A much smaller search will be conducted Monday morning, where they'll search the remaining 1/3 of the area -- including Blanchard Park.

A total of 800 searchers, 700 volunteers, came out on Sunday. Equusearch said teams will do mapping of the remaining areas Sunday night and make plans for Monday morning.

Equusearch must pack up and leave after the short search Monday, as there's a missing person case in another state requiring the group's resources.

EquuSearch's policy is to search an area three times before clearing it. Volunteers with less experience are trained to mark any area they consider suspicious and someone with more experience examines the area for clues.

Representatives from EquuSearch said they have all of their best people involved in the search and that their goal is to find Caylee this weekend.

"We'll basically brief (Equusearch) on what we had," said Padilla, who has analyzed pings to towers from Anthony's cell phone records.

"The woman lives her life 10 minutes at a time. It never, ever affects her adversely. Child's dead? OK. What do do? Oh, I've got to go (to) Blockbuster tonight," said Padilla, making note of the fact that Anthony was captured on surveillance video shortly after Caylee's disappearance.

"At this point, the best chance of finding Caylee would be a hunter, a biker ... someone on a bike or doing a survey who happens to stumble across (her body)," said EquuSearch coordinator TM.

Miller explained that a child's small skeleton is more fragile than that of an adult, and at this point, would likely not be entirely intact. Though he and his team will pack up the search after a smaller-scale operation on Monday, he has organized some 200 people who will continue to search without him on upcoming weekends.

Bounty Hunter Launches His Own Search For Caylee:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- As EquuSearch begins it’s final day of searching for Caylee Monday morning, bounty hunter LP will be putting his own plan into action.

After chasing leads all day Sunday, LP says he thinks he has something. He says in August, EquuSearch found a cross made from arts and crafts in Blanchard Park. One of his team members recognizes those materials. She says she saw the same arts and crafts materials in Casey A’s room after they bailed her out of jail.

Sunday morning, LP took a photograph of the cross and found the place where searchers discovered it. LP says the tree where searchers found the cross hanging is near water.

EquuSearch To Call Off Caylee Search:
Sunday, November 09, 2008 11:37:11 PM

Day two in the search for Caylee Anthony has ended. But after Monday, the Texas-based group that’s leading the charge plans to call off the search for at least a couple of weeks.

The group plans to go to North Carolina to try to help four families looking for missing loved ones.

After that TM hopes to bring the group back to Florida to find Caylee.

"I don't believe Caylee's body will ever be found. But I've been wrong before. And the only way Caylee's body will ever be found is to continue the search," TM said.

One man is standing in the water, feeding a line to another diver using scuba gear. Visibility is low and that diver is only able to run his hands along the bottom, according to RD, who is helping Padilla.

Divers Search For Caylee; Gag Order Hearing In Casey Case Postponed:
Girl Last Seen In Mid-June
POSTED: 7:50 am EST November 10, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A hearing on a sweeping gag order in the case against Casey A., who has been charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee, was postponed on Monday.

It is not known when the hearing, which would restrict attorneys, witnesses, law enforcement and the Anthony family from commenting publicly about the case, will be held. The purpose of the order would be to protect potential jurors from being influenced by pretrial publicity, Local 6 News reported.

Padilla said he received a tip from a friend of Anthony's, leading to the new search. Padilla said the friend showed him a picture of a cross that she had taken at Blanchard Park and it matched some arts and crafts that were in Anthony's room.

"She could have easily gone to the park, taken the body out, ruptured the bag when she pulled the body out of the trunk -- which left fluids in the trunk -- gotten it all over herself, taken it to the edge of the water and dumped it in there," Padilla said.

Bounty Hunter Conducts Separate Search
As EquuSearch continues looking for Caylee near the airport, California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is conducting a separate search at Little Econ River.

Padilla has hired his own dive team to search the river for the body of the missing toddler.

The bounty hunter said he was led to the Blanchard Park area by a cross after remembering a picture he saw in the room of Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony.

Padilla said he saw the picture in Casey's room over the summer, when he was in town after bailing her out of jail.

Search teams find dead animal

On Monday, Equusearch crews entered a wooded area off 417 on a street called Sounderson and found several garbage bags filled with rotted food. The garbage bags were covering what appeared to be a hole created by a few trees.

When the bags were removed, an awful smell came out. Equusearch officials began shaking their heads. "You know how many times we search for one person and find another," MA said who works with Equusearch.

Forensic detectives with the Orange County Sheriff's Office were called and they ruled the remains to be from an animal.
