Orange County deputies said they have video of Casey using forged checks at places like Target and Bank of America.
Casey is being held on $3,000 bond. She is scheduled to go before a judge Saturday to answer to the new charges.

Search For Caylee Continues

As for the case involving Caylee, deputies said recent forensic evidence showed a decomposing body was inside the trunk of Casey's car, and said their main goal is to find the missing toddler.
"Our goal is get to the bottom of this case," said Capt. Angelo Nieves, with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. "This case is a economic crimes case. What we want to accomplish is get to the bottom of Caylee Marie Anthony's disappearance."
"Again, we have forensic evidence that has been returned to us regarding the vehicle," Nieves continued. "Preliminary information indicates that there is decomposition in that vehicle from a human body. We want to make sure that all of the information that we have, we review carefully, we review authorially, and our investigators are excellent at doing this, and will continue to do that throughout the coming days and weeks."
Texas EquuSearch, a mounted search and recovery group, plans to hold a look for Caylee Saturday. The command center for the search will be set up on T.G. Lee Boulevard, near Orlando International Airport.

(snippets from article)

More TV reports aired late Sunday that Caylee Anthony is dead.

~snipped~

"For the first time, on the record, he's making a big statement," reporter Tracy Jacim said.

Which raised the question: Why was Allen appearing on camera on some stations and not on others?

WFTV also offered Allen on camera saying, "There was a dead body in the trunk of Casey's car and that body was Caylee."

http://www.local6.com/news/17377554/detail.html

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A bounty hunter who helped Casey Anthony, the mother of a missing 3-year-old Orlando girl, leave jail last month said the world will be shocked by new revelations in the upcoming weeks.

*snip*

"When the FBI, who has got some of the finest labs in the world, comes back (with findings), it is going to shock the world over something Lee, Casey and Cindy have known since Wednesday when they released their preliminary findings," Padilla said. "And also, the Dumpster located a mile and quarter away from the boyfriend Tony's home is going to play a big part in this."

UPDATED: 8:35 am http://www.wftv.com/news/17340180/detail.htmlEDT article no longer at this link. 10/7/08

This article includes the following statements:
The organization Equusearch that has been leading the search for the little girl said on CNN's Nancy Grace that they were considering calling it off.

"If Casey got us out here and she gave that child to somebody she trusted and will not give up the name and phone number, then she is wasting our resources," said an Equusearch member.

He said calls were pouring in from all over the country from people asking the organization to help them find their missing children and he doesn't feel that Casey is cooperating.

Meanwhile, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is back in California, but said his team is working to find where the dumpster near Casey's abandoned car was emptied and may try to search that area.
