I watched GMA and that is most certainly not what they said. The expert stated they WERE tampered with but that he could not say with any certainty WHO tampered with them (Oksana or radaronline).

Wow, she claims he is broke because he has to "feed an army?" Tell us Okasana, should he desert them and just take care of you? Resentful much of his other children? Proof this woman sucks and doesn't give a damn about the embarrassment and hurt she is causing his kids.

As a Catholic I do believe in possession and you are correct -- that IS what it sounds like. I have read quite a bit about it in books written by renowned Catholic priests including the chief exorcist of Rome. The guttural voice and foul language and hate he is spewing... I won't rule it out.

It sounds to me as if he is so full of rage that he can literally barely breathe. As if he is THIS close to having a stroke or anuerism.

He read that he suffers from bipolar disorder. On one of the tapes it's hinted that he is not taking any medication, i.e. to help deal with his manic-depression. It would not surprise me if Oksana timed her conversations to a manic episode, or took snippets of recordings from manic episodes. His panting on one of the tapes suggests this. In a state of mania, one is often restless, have impaired judgement, suffer from delusions and paranoia. It is quite common to resort to drink, which impairs one's mental reasoning even further.

If we can put these rantings in the context of a manic episode, it would suggest that Oksana deliberately exploited Mel's mental frailty and I would find that absolutely deplorable.

Oh please...the lengths some will go to excuse him and throw mud at her..

Next someone will claim she hid his medication or replaced it with a placebo and "gas lighted" him.

MY initial opinion still stands. Neither of these two come off as people I would want to know or associate with. Not a fan of golddiggers but don't feel any man is jsutified in putting his hands on a woman. Not a fan of Mel's tirade, his slurs, and from now on his movies.

Think that about says it for me on this topic.

To be fair, you asked me to provide a possible context or scenario that would allow for his tirade. I offered a theory which I didn't just pluck out of thin air. Mel Gibson admitted a decade ago that he suffered from the mental illness. To me, the tapes are not that of a mentally well-adjusted individual, but rather of someone with a mental disorder. How exactly is she responsible for his behavior? How would that even work? perhaps she knew he was bi-polar and off his meds, perhaps not.......it doesn't make a darn bit of difference to me.

Mel Gibson, being the clairvoyant that he is, declared himself to suffer from manic-depression, ten years ago, in the likely event that he would be taped, surreptitiously, ranting maniacally? To dismiss all valid excuses simply because they are overused seems a little unfair to those truly afflicted.

As to why he is off his meds, it is my contention that the only tapes being released are those in which Mel is not under any medication, as they support Oksana's case. She made the tapes so she can pick and choose what people hear. Moreover, it is not entirely established that he is taking medication. In one part of the tape, Oksana herself says, "you need medication." It is often the case that manic-depressives choose to self-medicate with alcohol, which seems to be the case with Mel.

He owns his disgusting behavior (past, present and future) and she owns hers. Her comments about feeding his "army" are sickening and telling. Those are his children! I suppose only her child counts in this situation, or the dress she needed, or the $5 milllion investment in her career. Just don't feed that "army."

The release of these tapes slowly over time is overkill. It smacks of someone that is vindictive and callous with regard to the feeling of his children. Whoever it is, is despicable. JMO.

And as a matter of respect I hope that Catholic beliefs and practices will not be ridiculed in this thread. I hope nobody pulls a "Mel." If anyone does then you are no better than he is with his racist comments and slurs.
