Sheneman stated it is too early to know if the DA will seek the death penalty. He asked for everyones patience as this will be a long judicial process. LE has no other updates shceduled, they've turned all the evidence over for prosecution. Hope I'm remembering all this correctly. LOL the boards were burning up over there...I'm gonna have to put in some eye drops! Hope this helps.

Just noticing that one of the cases against John and Amanda is for money owed to an OB-GYN. I was wondering if that could mean that they had a baby. Amount was for $731.74, which I think is low if a baby was born, still think it could be possible?

Someone earlier posted Amanda's blog and yes they have a baby. I thought maybe it was the insurance deductible? Mostly it's unpaid medical bills. They really aren't involved in MH except that MH has a child with him. I feel kinda bad posting that now.

I'm confused to. If she was born after Melissa left John, I'm wondering if she has even met her father. I feel horrible for this little girl. I'd like to say that from what I saw of Melissa's family they looked like they could keep little M. safe, but at this point who knows.:doh:

He was very adamant she acted alone, too.

Did anyone catch when he said the SWs would be unsealed?!

Thats amazing!!! On the astrology furom a few weeks ago one of the astros stated that Sandra was dead at 7:53 pm, before the 911 call.
 
What time did the call actually come in from Sandra's family that she was missing? My guess would be 7:53 pm.

8:15 I beleive was the time of the 911 call. If you go back and read the astro chart the time is exact as being 7:53 and this was before I beleive Sandra was even found.

IMO, security cameras and anything else LE could find. It also is not unheard of for the murder weapon or other evidence to have been placed or thrown onto the roof.

This appears to be a rather old building. I wonder if anything may have been found under drop ceiling tiles on the inside?
 
I wonder what happened as to the specific time of 7:53 pm then for the Sgt. to mention it?!

Well...if that is the case...then the Astro thread did score highly on that one! (And many other things...but I haven't read very far back on that thread yet.)
 
Do any of you know if the police have talked to Miranda about Melissa?
 
I am sure Sandra's entire family was interviewed the first night when she was reported missing. This would include her sisters.

As far as going back to interview them about Melissa...I would think any information pertaining to Melissa has been passed on by the family to LE prior to the arrest or soon after. They had a liason working with the family daily.

Yes, very odd.
How does a church that has only 15 members and has not had a service in two years also have an active Sunday school class?

From some of the reports I've read, there was hardly ever any activity at that church.

BTW, great site! I've visited several times but decided to join today.

I don't think we know exactly what was taking place at the church as far as services and bible study groups etc. The lack of cars in the parking lot during those times could be attributed to people walking to the church so the "activity" would seem very minimal to the neighbors. It is possible they had something for the children set up during the bible studies they termed as "sunday school" which Melissa was teaching.

Does anyone else feel like they (her grandparents) set her up with this Sunday School teaching gig so it would look good for her when she went back to court on her other violations. So the class may have been very few to almost non existent but she can still claim she's a Sunday school teacher.

ETA: Not because they're evil but because they thought they were really helping their granddaughter start fresh.
