Who is JH? James? If so, why would they look to see if there was a match to the DNA? He wasn't even there. Or am I totally off on who JH is? :waitasec:

I think the state did it to totally eliminate James as being a suspect so the defense couldn't try to falsely blame him. Good call imo.

James Henslee is Amy's husband.

IMO

Jurors also requested photos of the interior of the trailer...
.
.
The judge gave jurors the transcripts but told them to rely on their memories in regards to questions about the interior of the trailer. He said no photos could be given to them that were not submitted as evidence.

Looks like he gained some weight in jail.

I'd say:

Yes I know James is Amy's husband. I agree good call to eliminate him as a suspect but there was no match to AH's DNA either (or inconclusive) to some of the evidence. What does that tell us or the jury? Was she in that trailer?

Still no vid, but Beebe just entered courtroom (info via twitter), maybe they are waiting for jury/everyone to be seated?

on the count of open murder re: TH jury finds Beebe: guilty 1st degree murder
on the count of open murder re: AH jury finds Beebe: guilty 2nd degree murder

Again, confused about the jury's decision. How can they find him guilty of first degree for TH and not AH? Heck, based on evidence sounds like it was premeditated for AH more than it was for TH. He drove to her house to get her.

In anycase, he'll be locked up for a very long time. Hope he rots in prison for what he's done to these women. Moms with kids. What a senseless crime and for what except his own ego. Sickening.

Based on testimony and evidence, TH shot twice and in the back of the head (in "self defense" according to JB) screamed 1st degree. One shot could have supported something else...but two? to the back of the head?

The second shot had to have been premeditated (if only for a second or 2) IMO.

PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) - A jury has convicted Junior Lee Beebe Jr. in the January deaths of two Van Buren County women.

Beebe was found guilty Tuesday of second-degree murder in Amy Henslee's death, which carries a penalty of life in prison with the possibility of parole. He was found guilty of first-degree murder in Tonya Howarth's death, which has a penalty of mandatory life without parole. He was also found guilty of firearms charges.

The jury began deliberations Friday afternoon and stayed until around 7:30 p.m. Jurors returned to continue deliberations at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. At around 10 a.m., the court went back into session and the judge addressed the jurors' written requests.

I disagree with the jury, but respect the decision by them. Thank you all for the information this morning.

LeonHendrix I asked Beebe point blank....Did you kill those two women as he left the courthouse. He shouted "No."

Beebe's attorney presented his story vigorously and clearly. Beebe himself testified to his side via the police interview video. You can't ask for more than that. Bottom line is that a jury of his peers unamimously found him to be a &^%#$ liar. :hand:

The good news is he can continue to cage fight for the rest of his life...in his cell. :behindbar:

I think they did try to give him a benefit of a doubt but the evidence just didn't line up.

I think they did it correctly. Something volatile happened between him and Amy that morning. What that was we will never know imo and he flew into a rage and killed her.

I simply think he killed Tonya in cold blood to keep her from telling what he had done to Amy.

IMO
