Wonderful news.. may they rest in peace. I'm sorry if I missed this, but what happened to the surviving child?

I'm assuming Thinker that the baby boy now lives with his dad or dad's family.

I will ask my SIL next time I see her so I can update & hopefully answer these great questions.
