D'Andre's eyes would look very different if he was making a mean face while squinting his eyes.

I've spent hundreds of hours in the UID forum comparing missing persons to john and jane does and if we were comparing a missing person next to a sketch of a john doe, I'd say we likely have a match and suggest it be called in.

Yes, There are (at least) 3 two year olds. I believe there is another son close to age 2 and what I believe is an infant. There is also the 7 year old girl who witnessed the beating and was supposedly 'locked in a room', and there is an older (first-born) son.

It seems he has 4 sons and 3 daughters. I'm sorry but...that whole thing..his "ode" if you will, was a mess. His creed, is scary. imo

So listening to what he said on NG about "looking at the state of education in my city...," I think that maybe DL could've been looking into the financial aid programs created specifically for students who are studying education and are then going to spend 8 (?) years immediately after graduation as teachers in underserved areas.

Respectfully, when studying education there is generally an area of education one is studying. for example, early childhood education..... IMO "education" was the first thing that popped into his head and he needed the extra time to come up with a more detailed explanation when asked/pressed for additional information.

I'll be more than willing to eat crow if a convicted felon with drug and weapons charges can gain employment as a teacher or social worker.

social worker.....would depend on what type and where. A lot of social workers in the addiction field are actually past addicts themselves with criminal records who have turned their life around. But any type of social work that involves a criminal background check or working with children....not happening.

Not with the State, probably - but there are a lot of convicted felons who work in private nonprofits - their story is compelling because they're turned their lives around so dramatically.

Programs to turn around young people headed for a life of crime, or a life on the streets, that kind of thing.

I don't see any crimes related to children on his record, or any violent crimes, I don't think.

As far as crimes against children, or violent crimes, it was reported that there was an Order of Protection against him for harrassing and assaulting his ex-wife, threatening to harm her, stalking her and threatening to kill his two year old son. He violated that order and was sent to jail - just got out - and was ordered into anger management classes. There are also firearms violations against him. The argument is that he wanted extended custody of the child and the mother did not want to give it up, so he made it hell for her. He is extremely angry and states on Facebook that she tried to make him 'look like the bad guy' in court.

Now it makes sense why he may have wanted all the kids, if he thought he could get more financial aid and as a previous poster stated, 'make a full-time career' out of going to school.

Last I heard, he had the 7 year old and 2 2-year-olds living with him and he was attempting to get the third two year old. It's not clear is the nephew lives with him or not.

If she was, it has not been reported. This is one part of the story that LE seems to be keeping quiet. imo

I agree, he does have very distinctive eyebrows and large eyes. In the sketch, I think the baseball cap is covers the eyebrows (and eyes?), so you can't tell what they look like. How convenient for him to skip those features...

I think that, aside from the RO (and I don't know why that would be left out, but whatever), his most recent conviction was in 2003. Maybe that's it?

Really? I do not agree - he has given everything to LE, so why blurt it out on TV & get yourself in a bind 'cause you got confused. Why not put the sketch on TV?

Why not use that time to beg for BeBe?

Afternoon folks (I'll add the "Good" to Afternoon when Bianca is found)...

I had to take time away from WS yesterday and this morning with work related stuff.

I was talking to one of my staff members yesterday, a young married male w/ two small boys, whose wife has family in Detroit/Highland Park. I was asking him if his wife knew any of these people and he is going to check...

BUT what was interesting is that as I was telling him to "story" of the case he suddenly looked in deep thought and I stopped speaking for a second. I asked him what was wrong and he replied (in reference to the alleged car jacking), "I'm sorry but there is NO WAY IN H3LL I would let my baby strapped in a car seat drive off in the hands of an ARMED car jacker. That is just an "over my dead body" moment for me."

Now before anyone gets on the "you can SAY what you would do in a situation but until you are IN it - don't speculate" bandwagon this is from one man but it was a very powerful moment.

I don't like that there are now details about this P.O., spanking w/ a paddle, "might" have had a potty accident, etc. and I have got to say I do not see a happy end to this.

I pray to GOD almighty I am wrong and Bianca comes home safely. This case is hard for me because it is so close to home, emotionally and physically.

But this particular child did not even respond to her own name--she responded to "Bacon" but didn't seem to know her own name (per a previous post which I am assuming was correct). I wonder if a child like that would be ready for a situation like a financial aid office? Not her fault, I just doubt she was properly socialized to begin with. She appears to be such a bright little child,and sounds like it by all the descriptions, but her aptitude has to be nourished in a supportive environment. I just don't see how a felon could provide that.

I don't have children so maybe I have no right to say. I used to babysit a lot, so I'm not unfamiliar with kids.

I also can't get over my negative feelings about DL, which makes me think that an outing with him would not be fun for the child....

I wonder if she was confused on how to form the word, etc. She is reported to be very smart, talkative, and can read, and likes to watch Jeopardy.

Children need to be socialized but I do not like to see children run amok while parents look the other way. That teaches a child nothing about respect for other people's feelings or property.

A little OT but an example of somewhere that children are not welcome (or even allowed):

Several years ago, I had gone to a Nordstrom Spa for a manicure/pedicure prior to a winter vacation. I was sitting in the reception area waiting to be called for my services when a woman whom I thought I recognized as a neighbor approached the desk with a toddler in tow. She identified herself to the receptionist (then I was sure she was a neighbor) and said that she was there for a bikini wax. The receptionist asked if someone was with her to watch the little girl (who was three at the time) because "children were not allowed in the treatment rooms".

The mother argued with the receptionist about it being alright with her that her child was in the room during her bikini wax, but the receptionist explained that the spa's policy did not permit anyone besides the client and spa personnel in the treatment room. The mother asked if her daughter could sit in the reception area or in the interior waiting area for clients who are having multiple services and moving to a different treatment room. I was shocked when I heard the mother say that she would leave her 3-year-old alone in the reception area at Nordstrom or alone in the client waiting area She was adamant :furious: about having the bikini wax done immediately because she was leaving on a trip the following day and demanded to see a supervisor. I don't know what happened because I was called for my services then, but I thought the mother was selfish and definitely not considering the safety of her young child. jmo

Thanks for this! She sounds like such a bright little girl. Why do children like this have to be born to creeps (IMO) like DL who will assassinate their brilliance?

No, I don't know, it is more the expression, like how the skin is kind of drawn up with the eyebrows ...up and to the middle above his nose. Agh, I don't know, maybe I am wrong because now I am doubting it too.
