Was clothing found or not? Some conflicting reports with a reporter saying police are right back where they started? Any info?
I have to get this off my chest ... recent articles have really been hitting the patrons of the party hard ... things like "too drunk and high to be of any help" and this bugs the crap out of me. Those young people there (with the exception of people who may actually be involved) were at that party to let loose and have a good time - they were not there to babysit other party goers. I think they need some slack cut - most of us, if not all, have been to a party ... while you do see your surroundings, you don't always pay attention to the back ground or outfits. I've been to many farm house parties - it's dark, woodsy, and LOUD! Sorry for the rant, i just think the 500+ people who most likely did nothing wrong except having a foggy memory should not be patronized. And it's not most sleuthers - it's more of the media and social media

Especially with how rural the area seems to be. IMO it would be somewhat easy to disassemble the outfit and burn it or bury it. It could be hidden anywhere. The fact that it was found here and relatively out in the open speaks a lot about why it's here...Wow, Monster 12: this description is wonderful and in great detail. I appreciated all the info and your thinking.
I can't imagine someone leaving clothing, etc. in abandoned site if wanting to get rid of them. There are certainly other ways of permanently getting rid of them and not possibly have your DNA show up or other evidence connected with you and then be implicated. My thinking is they were not just dropped there in a site unrelated to Chelsea's disappearance. If you and your garbage wasn't being checked out by police, why not just put the items in trash and let them be dumped? Why not burn them? People burn items around this area all the time. Most people know someone in the country where burning can be done. A couple bags of papers/documents along with these items could be burned and no one would know.
The violent lyrics and themes in PAP's music have been mentioned frequently. I've read some lyrics and watched a few videos but can't spend too much time pursuing this uke: Definitely out of my comfort zone
What would have drawn Chelsea to this type of music? The brutal themes are so far removed from her religious upbringing, parochial school education through 8th grade, family morals and values, etc. What would have drawn this unassuming, sheltered, seemingly innocent young woman to that type of music? It just seems so out of character for Chelsea; I can't wrap my brain around it.
Did Chelsea feel socially isolated, found a group of friends with whom she felt comfortable, and simply follow their lead into the dark world of heavy metal? Was she secretly longing for a more worldly existence than she had with her family? Was she trying to rebel from her strict, sheltered upbringing? :dunno:
Well said, roses. Although as far as I know her phone did work, she just didn't keep it with her. Did I forget something again?
