IRT EG apparently standing by FG, and the frustration of that for some. I think it is easy to lose sight that she too is a victim. One who thankfully still has her life, but nevertheless is still a victim. FG has spent years grooming and manipulating her, and it will likely take her months or even years to separate his BS from reality. One day, not on our timeline, she will make that leap from victim to survivor, and she too will need a soft place to land.

She did not create FG, I highly doubt she knowingly protected this version of him. Likely, everything she knows and loves of him has been carefully orchestrated to create a realism that doesn't exist, and that is the only version she has to hold on to right now, IMO. That fantasy was her entire life. She is not unscathed, just still breathing. Give time time.

Dani's thread is my landing page on WS, so I very much get that she should be reunited with her family posthaste. I want that too. I try hard never to dim somebody else's lightbulb in order to make another one's shine. Dani is shining brightly. I believe not a day goes by that her light hasn't been asking us to focus. I pray for everyone involved. May they get peace and justice.

I agree with you. I still believe she drove to his home in her jeep. Something occurred there. He drove her jeep back to IGA, walked or hitched a ride back to his car. He drove home in his car, wrapped Danis lifeless body in a blanket, drove within 30 minutes of Berkley and dropped her body. I still think water not land. Drove to visit wife in hospital, came home and cleaned all night..went to beer tourney next day and disposed items to incriminate him along the way. I believe he purchased a new comforter and that purchase was tracked... LE then wanted to know what happened to the old comforter. Description of comforter was more than likely found in photos .. JMO

I can't remember if the ping from her cellphone in OH was ever substantiated or if it was just rumor. That was something that always intrigued me about this case. I've made the trip from Toledo to Detroit before. Plenty of abandoned buildings in Toledo, but also depending on route, lots of cutoffs places to stop and go unnoticed. That is of course, if the ping itself was not hearsay.

Sounds like LE thinks FG stayed local though so it was probably just rumor.

He also could have put her inside a metal foot locker and then put her in a scrap metal bin. Scrap metal is often hauled long distances to be processed.

This is very scary to consider. Especially considering that Floyd lived next to an ice rink that was being fixed up or renovated from what I recall? Did FG use the dumpsters there? Since le didn't search his house right away, if Danielle was in the dumpsters at the ice rink, she would have been long gone by the time le searched his home. I really hate to consider this possibility!

The phone pings is a rumor only. If it did ping somewhere I'm sure FBI was all over that like White on rice. Highly unlikely he would dump
A body with a phone. It would make it too easy for the body to be identified in case someone found it. Where she is depends ( in my mind) if this was pre meditated or not. Even in the attempted rape and kidnapping in Hines park we do not know what his plans were... was he going to leave her there ... was he going to kill her? We don't know. Same with Dani... it's the unknown. If murder was the end plan then everything was in place ... every detail planned out. Sorry... sick SOB.... I pray for Danis family this is resolved and they are able to bring their daughter home.

At first I thought maybe she was in denial. Now that they are talking about DNA then it makes me second guess that. It'll be interesting to see what evidence there is on August 1 and if she still stays.

No it wasn't rumor. I found it. According to FG sister in law LE told her he was at the hospital very late that night. That leaves an extremely small window of time for disposal. She has to be in a local park, water, dumped or burned. She won't be buried as it would take way too long to get it long and deep enough for him to be cleaned up and visiting a hospital. JMO of course.

Can you link the article ? Would love to read what she stated again. I do agree with you...at first I thought barrel and fire( I hate typing that) but leaning towards water now . Any local know if Newburgh lake is gradual depth ? I know it's deep but didn't know if someone could drop something from shore disappearing in the lake. For non locals Newburgh lake is located around Hines drive.

That's ok. There has been talk of phone pings since very early on in this case. I recall some of the rumors stated that it pinged in Ohio. The admin post on that really caught my eye because we'd been tossing that around for awhile.

I wasn't quoting your post or any other, just making a statement that I'd seen that and I think that's the first clarification we have had on that from what I consider a very good source. No worries.

I'm honestly not sure about the risk factor. If he did indeed abduct Danielle from her place of employment, that's a huge risk in itself. I'm not sure if this is allowed regarding TOS, please delete if not. I couldn't agree more. I've said that all along...something just doesn't add up in the least. Imo she went into the home willingly for some reason and he made a move and it went south fast. I don't think murder was on his menu that day. Sex maybe, hopefully not rape in his mind but when it went that way I'm sure she fought hard and he did away with her. What I'm truly surprised is that he didn't have any marks on him after either attack....if he did I assume his wife would recall and it would have been a conversation. I get that she's a victim but she isn't an idiot. She can start piece it together with 8 months of questions and the last few weeks would certainly have hammered it home, with the connection between the cases coming from her own home. It wasn't like it was a line up where it could be mistaken identity. While under investigation for one crime he was arrested for another. Because. Of. Items. Taken. From. Her. Home.
