Deborah Elaine Deans

Not the best of matches to your recon, but she doesn't seem to have much forehead, she has a prominent chin and her age and timeframe isn't totally incompatible with the Doe.

As I said in my post #1, I have no idea whether she looks like that in an overall sense. I was just trying to capture a sense of what her facial shape and placement of her facial features looked like, combined with a couple of versions of what her hair might look like. And as was discussed earlier, the backward tilt of the skull in the photo might affect the apparent size of her forehead, and also her jawline with respect to her chin.

But with respect to the facial shape, Deborah looks quite close.

Carl, you are amazing with those reconstructions.

An observation; I live in a somewhat warmer climate than Detroit, and for a corpse to become skeletonized here takes months. Am I to understand that a corpse laid in an alley in a city long enough to become skeletonized? My (highly inexpert) estimate for Detroit is between 6 months and a year. Being dumped there after partially decomposing elsewhere would be unusual in the extreme.

It's not a "city alley" exactly -- in the street view Carl posted, it looks more like a power line right of way running between a series of small closely packed lower blue-collar houses. It's full of trees and weeds and looks to be like several bodies could be lying there undiscovered for quite some time.

OK, since she was found in March she probably was there over the winter, which actually makes sense.

I wonder how long a UID has to sit before becoming "mummified"? Is the "two years" based on at LEAST two years, or at MOST two years? JW
Anywho, I've got a possible unless she's already been discussed? (sorry if she has though)
Height is off by almost two inches, age by a year younger; but it looks like everything else may fit. but also went missing in 2006..

The roads in that neighbourhood look like Hell. But I'm wondering if that's because Detroit declared bankruptcy a few years back?

Either way, it seems strange that the neighbours didn't notice anything. I'm wondering what her killer's motivations were for putting her in the alleyway... Maybe the house next to it was in forclosure at that time and no one would notice? This was immediately after the crash of the economy.
