Ms. Harris-Green had a rough night and was not able to speak to the public. She will attend the visitation for her children later today. Ozie and Arnessa Pye, proprietors of Pye Funeral Home in Detroit, spoke on behalf of Harris-Green and read a statement from her. The children's mother had intended to speak about them as she does not want them to be forgotten. The public is welcome to attend visitation at Pye Funeral Home today and tomorrow from 3:00-8:00PM. Funeral service Friday at Detroit Church of the Nazarene.

Their mother assures the kids will not be forgotten. But nobody wrote obituaries for them? I think that is the first step, a summary of their lives, regardless of their ages. That would help all of us who are interested feel like we would know them to a certain extent.

I thought that was odd also. I was hoping to read about each of them. I wouldn't expect the mother to but I feel someone who knew them could have done it for the family.

This was/is a very kind gesture by this funeral home. Bless them for their generosity.
 
Men who kill their children but leave the mom alive are only doing it to punish the mother. It's the ultimate punishment. Leave them with a life of hell to endure. Poor Faith. I feel for her.
 
This man, absolutely sickens me.
I've seen many crimes over the last 12 or so on websluths... this one has me boiling angry.
This tortured his wife, then had her watch while he murdered her children.
Leaving her alive to go through life with this nightmare forever.
I'm absolutely sure, that he told her their two little ones were dying or already dead from the carbon monoxide as well.

This is one of the most atrocious, hateful, aggrecious acts against a mother that can be thought of.

Not to even mention, these beautiful innocent children.
I hate this man-thing.

I really do. I hope that the rest of his life is pure misery.
Truth be told, He admitted his crimes, I think that he should be taken outside, lined against a wall and shot repeatedly until dead.

He is a mass murderer of children. Period.
There is no room in our society for people like this.

Period.

Like I said earlier, maybe he'll get some jailhouse justice. He would get off too easy if he had to face a firing squad.
 
The murderer turned himself in and probably expects leniency for the gesture.

BBM. This is why I'd make a terrible defense attorney. I'd personally escort the guy outside for the firing squad, not ask for a da** mental competency test. This had nothing to do with mental illness. This subhuman is just an evil, vile .
 
I feel like this is too soon to ask and afraid to even think of the possibilities but how might have he gone about this? If you have the mother and two older kids in a room together, I'd assume they were held at gun point or something and forced to comply. The younger kids I could understand just moving them into the car. (Ugh)

But to get two "grown" teenagers tied up and then bring the mother together in one room. Was that what he did first? Were they asleep Bc it was late at night so they didn't really understand what was happening? Just doing all this alone seems like quite the task and sadly nobody was able to get away unharmed(besides the mother although I would say she was far from unharmed in a sense).

What a monster. He should have done society a favor and offed himself. This is perhaps the most awful crime I have heard about in the area.
 
He deserves as much leniency as a rattlesnake who just bit five people.

Absolutely! When I lost my first husband, the funeral home got pertainant info from me and he wrote the obit and submitted it to the newspaper. I couldn't have been more pleased, they did are really nice job.

The four Dearborn Heights children allegedly killed by the father of the two younger children will be laid to rest Friday.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. in Farmington Hills.

Kaleigh, 4, and Koi Green, 5, andKara Allen, 17, and Chadney Allen, 19, were discovered slain in their home Sept. 21. The younger children were killed by carbon monoxide and the older children, the husband’s stepchildren, were shot to death...
