An accomplice in the murder of 56-year-old Jane Bashara is under arrest after speaking to Grosse Pointe Park police, according to reports by WXYZ (Channel 7).

The station is reporting that sources are confirming the man's arrest, after several hours of questioning by police.

Unconfirmed reports are coming in Tuesday that an “accomplice” has been arrested in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Grosse Pointe Park marketing executive Jane Bashara.

Sources told the Defenders the man walked into the Grosse Pointe Parks Police Department at about 4 a.m. Tuesday. He then told police he was paid to help in the murder of Bashara and that there was a second person involved in the crime, sources said.

Sources said the man also told police Bashara was viciously attacked and killed in her own garage.
