You have many good questions. What has really bothers me is the idea of having a curtain replace the bathroom door. If true, this is absurd. Sounds voyeuristic, at the very least. Trojan, had you heard this, also? Curtains keep no sounds of bathroom uses blocked out, and little bits that don't "seal" allow for peeks. How old were the girls when this occurred? We all deserve bathroom privacy. Why, why, why would this have been allowed? This has bothered me all day!

I know for a fact that there was a curtain as I saw it when I visited their house in Gaylord. The twins were about 12 to 14 years old at that time.

They lived in Gaylord, MI? When was that? Was this the only bathroom in that house?
 
rosesfromangels - Unfortunately I can't truthfully answer 4 of your 5 questions. As far as question #3 - I don't believe Chelsea had contact with JT and I don't ever recall him ever saying anything about breakfast at Olga's.

Or it could be him pretending to be Julia, I recall trying to figure it out, but her teachers would be able to track back citations she may have used in her school work. Could this be the method he used to signal cohorts or a cover life for what he was up to. His scouting the border patrols seemed odd to me, there's more to this as roses mentions from her read of the maps, more to the whole hunting and his related SM, that is, it seem to me.
 
I realize he posts a lot on the hunting/fishing boards, but wonder just how skilled he actually is. From some of the things he writes, I just feel he is a wannabe sportsman. Seems to like to boast, yet I have not seen any major accomplishments in these sports.

Was there ever an actual door on the bathroom that was removed for the curtain? I just find this so troubling

Pretending .... I had that thought, also. No way to know for sure. I mainly was trying to post items related to doing things with the kids. I never saw mention of the other twin anywhere. A lot about the youngest. Only this one with any connection to Julia.

I seem to recall that Mom worked at the Walmart in Gaylord. I don't believe they lived there very long.

I think he was networking and signaling, it would be the way to go, if you're seriously doing something nefarious, it is possible, akin meeting with a source in a traffic circle, yet through this blog he can indicated where (geography, location, facilities) and timing, when and the crossbows and all that can mean something else. Hunters get to know each other eye to eye, talk face to face if they do, from my experiences. Turnquist wasn't making friends with his hunting SM, he seemed to be announcing, not interacting, it is possible?

Trojan graciously and bravely shared up thread that Turnquist in order to help separate Kim from her parents, when they were first married, moved the family to Gaylord, and that Kim would often return to her home town to party and left the kids with Turnquist.

DH and I were out running errands and "heard" about the earthquake in the car. There was certainly no evidence of it where we live in Oakland County. I definitely felt the earthquake in the mid-1980s that was centered around Cleveland.

The bathroom door issue literally sickened me when I first read about it! What type of perverted human being does this to girls/women who he's supposed to love and care for? I can't imagine the embarrassment and shame the developing girls must have felt as they began experiencing puberty - a time when most girls become very modest in dealing with their changing bodies. What on earth possessed him to do such a thing, and why did Kim allow this for herself and her daughters? :banghead:

I'm very perplexed that if, indeed, the story of the bathroom door is true, then why didn't any of the "concerned" family members report this incident to the proper authorities for further investigation and try to get the girls out of the "dire" situation they were believed to be in?

In the 12/10/12 post he writes in strings of disjointed phrases with bad grammar and punctuation, as if he were distracted or intoxicated. Most of his posts are much better written and seem more lucid.

I am merely asking questions to statements made on here. It seems odd to me that this is being brought up now and applied to a situation regarding a POI and not Suspect that wasn't worth merit during the years it was happening. It certainly leaves me with questions. I personally don't believe that ANY family members are involved in Julia's murder. If I am proven wrong, I will certainly admit it.
