BAY CITY, MI — For several days, Justie T. Stilwell failed to show up for his janitorial job at a Bay City middle school, something that was uncommon for the 41-year-old man. His concerned family, unable to get in touch with him, reported him missing to police.
Hours later, a teenage girl made a gruesome discovery — a severed foot near a boat launch extending into the Saginaw River. Police shortly thereafter recovered Stilwell’s arms and lower legs from the waterway.

A Michigan man is behind bars after being arrested for the murder of a missing school janitor whose dismembered body parts were found near a boat ramp in Bay City.

Robert Dale Tweedly Jr., 40, is charged with one count of open murder and one count of moving and mutilation of a corpse in connection to the death of 41-year-old Justie Stilwell.
