I have a science brain and would love to figure out how fast of a current could move at least 80 pounds of a person and concrete.. I think who ever did this... if they attempted to sink it... most likely didn't throw it out that far and it drifted to the shore. If we do the math with the river current and estimate the weight of the concrete containing Neveah we could possibly figure out the point of entry into the river....

It seems from the article I just read that she wasn't in the river.

The pair – a man and his father -- noticed a disruption in the soil along the edge of the river and saw a large cement block and a chip in it, from which a terrible smell emanated.

The younger man apparently poked at the soil and saw skin. They immediately contacted police.

I'm with ya on the dinner thing. I think they're using the word block to describe what I would call a patch of concrete.

Mel, I understand your anger. I too am furious.
I would love for all of us to take this anger and heartbreak and use it to acheive some good. We all need to write/e-mail our state reps and senators and lobby for new legislation for sex offenders that incudes harsher sentences, no parole and ankle tethers.

I was thinking they should be knockout and Implant with a gps mico chip, I also think that the public should be able to look up and see the terms of a the gps and where they are allow to go and curfews.:furious:

I don't even get the concrete thing. Dig a shallow grave. then cover her with the concrete and then what? Nobody is ever going to notice this big hunk of concrete out here in the middle of nowhere and not investigate? (Exactly what happened with the boy and his father)

Is this a fast moving current in this river or could be that the current changes in different spots??

not to be disgusting... but if it was in a block... that means it was poured over Neveah while she was in a large form of some kind

I don't know but I am not getting that impression. It seems like she was buried in a shallow grave on the bank close to the river and a concrete block placed on top of the makeshift grave.

The son kicked the soil (imo underneath the concrete block) and that is when he saw skin so whomever put her in the shallow grave barely had her covered with dirt.

I feel for grandma too, but facts I keep hearing is the GM had custody and JB was supposed to be supvised, why wasn't that being done? I hope LE comes up with some charges, I feel she did not even know her daughter, she was in prison while her daughter was being raise by GM,:furious::furious::furious:

I heard JB's brother state there were no restrictions on her for visitation since the grandmother only took her pending the Home Invasion charges against her and it was voluntary on JB's part.

I am not taking up for her by any stretch. She should get whatever charges they can find against her for Neglect.

From the pictures, it looks like the area where she was found is made up mostly of big slabs of rock. Maybe the perp thought if he tossed some dirt and a few stones over the concrete slab it would blend in.

I brought my post over as it's moving fast (below). Also, mentioned that concrete is rough. You can be cut by carrying a concrete block. The blood was not Navaeh's but supposedly the girlfriend (not JB) and GK's. Is that why there was blood found at the motel.

There's quik set and Por/Rock. Quik set is a casting plaster and Por/Rock or Rockite sets very fast and has concrete already in it. Sets up in 20min. and steadily stronger over time.
