I wonder if another arrest will be coming.

I sure hope not

edit to add

That didn't sound right, what I meant was I sure don't want the younger brother to be involved.

But it is possible he had some help cleaning up and moving the body.

I asked about the timeline for Friday earlier today because I wondered if Mr. Mikes had gone to work and what the boys did during the day. Glad that more information is coming out now even though the outcome is horrific.

This happened on July 26...(thursday)
buying single movie tickets at the Star Theater at Great Lakes Crossing mall. One purchase was at 2:04 p.m. and one at 9:11 p.m. In between, he charged a meal for $11.53 at the Johnny Rockets restaurant nearby,

I wonder if he actually used the tickets...or used that time to drive dad and bike somewhere?

Andrew is the 16 year old. His sister was there, and 2 uncles. In the photos they appear to be sitting separately though.

The maternal grandparents were in court, also, and my guess is that the younger boy is staying with them at an undisclosed location for his safety.

I wonder if he had his days mixed up, since Mikes didn't show up for work on Friday. Have we heard if Mikes called in to work or just didn't show up.

I think he saw him on his bike all the time, and when it was in the news that the boys saw him on his bike Friday, he said he saw him on his bike on Friday.

Always annoys me when people do that. (5 minutes - fame - all that stuff).

I was going to say something similar. I saw Mr. Sharma's interview on WDIV and recall him saying that he (frequently) saw his neighbor riding his bike but didn't mention a specific day. Maybe Mikes usual schedule was to ride when he got home from work, so Sharma says that 5:30 sounds right even if he wasn't absolutely certain that he saw Mikes on that particular Friday. :moo:

My gosh, how much blood was there? And where is Mr. Mikes?

I missed the presser, but I have read "copious amounts". And someone buying cleaning supplies.

MOO-younger son has a very odd demeanor from the court appearance of older brother, flat affect, not overly worried, strange expression on his face. Maybe he was just exhausted from stress, IDK, but it's odd.

I thought his appearance in the courtroom and flat affect was odd too.

There has to be more to this given the "violent encounter" .

I just can't believe all this went down over minor charges on a CC.[/QUOTE]

ITA.

I have to go out for some errands tomorrow morning and will get flowers to place at the home from those here at WS who are following the case. Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends of Patrick Mikes, Senior.

Thank you. I don't know why some cases grab me, but I am so sad that this man's life has probably ended like this. I think he was probably a decent man who did the best he could raising children after his wife died and for a child(ren) to do this is just so sad to me.

Lots of space with heavy brush past Great Lakes Mall going north.
