Sylvester Williams Jr

Sylvester "Deneye" Williams Jr, 33, has been missing since January 13th, 2014. He was last seen near the University of Detroit Mercy campus. His car, a black 2012 Chevy Malibu was found abandoned near near Livernois and Puritan in Detroit, Michigan. Williams is a black male that is 6' 2" and weighs 170 lbs.

this is not THE Sylvester Williams who plays in the NFL, correct? I agree - horrible area where his car was found. The word is out there in SM and MSM. Not getting a warm feeling... But we can always hope. It doesn't fix anything, but it helps deal with this world IMO.

The body of 33-year-old Sylvester Williams, Jr. was found around 9 p.m. Wednesday inside an abandoned home in the 15000 block of Log Cabin Street, near the Lodge Freeway and McNichols Road on the city&#8217;s west side. Detectives say they responded to the home after receiving a tip.

While a positive cause of death is pending, police believe Williams was beaten to death.

Body of missing Sylvester Williams found, 2 suspects in custody

Sources tell Fox 2's Taryn Asher the night Williams was missing, he was lured away by a phone call from a person investigators believe was posing as someone he met on a dating website. Williams drove into Detroit where several men were waiting to rob him instead. They beat him, took money, shoved him in the trunk of his car and drove him to another location. They went to shoot him but realized he was already dead.
