This missing person notice came out today from the Dodge County Sheriff's office along with a press conference. They have talked to a lot of people and have no further leads. What can we find? The area around Clyman is a lot of marsh and difficult to navigate. Is there anything we can dig up? She has a husband in jail for unrelated charges.

Dodge County sheriffs looking for missing woman, ask people to avoid Clyman area

37-year-old Crystal Rasch of rural Clyman is currently missing, and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is conducting searches in the Clyman area.

Sheriff Schmidt also said that Crystal was last seen on June 11th, and was reported missing on June 23rd. He also said that the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has brought in resources and asked for assistance from departments around the area, and are committed to finding Crystal and returning her home.

Law enforcement presence will be increased in the Clyman area and potentially other areas of the county.

The sheriff's office is asking people to avoid the area and not assist with the search.

Crystal Rasch, 37 is reported missing from Clyman. The small Dodge County community is about 1 hour northeast of Madison.

Adams County Rasch has connections to two parcels of land in the Adams County town of Springville.

“We’ve done multiple searches at various addresses here in Dodge County and we’ve done extensive searches everywhere we get a kind of a lead and that continues,” Sheriff Schmidt told WMTV-TV

“We certainly are working very hard to bring her home, but we also recognize the investigation could turn at any time and we have to be prepared so that if there is a need to maintain any evidence we can do so,” Schmidt said. “If we have volunteers or any others assisting with those searches we lose the ability to maintain that evidence for an investigation that might be needed.”

Arrest made in connection to Crystal Rasch, the Missing woman in Dodge County

Dodge County Sheriff's Office arrested Zachariah Rasch, the estranged husband of Crystal Rasch, who was reported missing earlier this week.

According to a criminal complaint, obtained by TMJ4, Rasch has been charged with seven counts of identity theft. Each count accuses Rasch of using Crystal Rasch's debit card several times since her disappearance.

Rasch allegedly took several trips to stores around Dodge County. His purchases, allegedly included carpet cleaner, chemical-resistant gloves, stain remover, and drain cleaner.

In total, Dodge County says the purchases added up to over $6,500.

Authorities tracked Crystal's cellphone to Adams County, where Zachariah's family owns the property. During a search, investigators found his car, which they say has significant evidentiary value.

The car is being processed at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab in Madison.

Husband of missing Dodge County woman arrested, accused of several unauthorized transactions

37-year-old Crystal Rasch of rural Clyman is currently missing, and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is conducting searches in the Clyman area.

Zachariah Rasch appeared in court on Friday for an initial appearance, where the judge found probable cause to charge him. He is currently being held at the Dodge County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says that they are continuing to investigate Crystal’s disappearance, and will also treat the case “in which a serious felony has likely been committed”. They also say that they will release information as they are able to through the course of the investigation.

In addition to the financial side of the investigation, Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies have been able to ping and trace two phone numbers belonging to Crystal Rasch. The last known location for one phone was on June 8 near Juneau. The other phone pinged near Adams, Wisconsin on June 17 and also showed a call on June 10 from that same area.

A vehicle registered to Crystal was found in Adams County at a property owned by relatives of her husband. The vehicle, a 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse, is currently undergoing forensic analysis at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab in Madison.

The last communication from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office indicated they are still treating Rasch’s disappearance as a missing persons case. However, they said that they are also treating it “as a case in which a serious felony has likely been committed.”

According to the complaint, Crystal's estranged husband has a history of harassing her, which prompted authorities to question Mr. Rasch about any recent contact with Crystal.

Detectives brought Mr. Rasch in for questioning to help determine the whereabouts of his wife. During the interview, Rasch confirmed that he and his wife have separate bank accounts and do not authorize each other to use them.

According to the complaint, Rasch eventually admitted to lying and confessed to making numerous unauthorized purchases using her account.

A search warrant executed at the residence of Mr. Rasch yielded $1,800 from a dresser drawer and $1,345 from a wallet.

Financial records showed a balance of $9,460.34 in Crystal’s bank account on June 3rd. The balance had fallen to $2,907.75 by June 24, indicating debts totaling $6,552.59 during that timeframe.
