He using the 98% O2 level to explain the lack of carbon monoxide.

Maybe it was that high because GF's airway was never blocked. I wonder if the jury will see this conflict in the States case. JMO
No because there is none IMO.

I have found that when someone has a really good argument it is shorter and succinct- When a person isn't as sure of themselves, the argument goes on for a longer period of time and can be confusing as well.

I agree- that is insulting

I never judge what a jury will do based on how long either side goes during closings

I've seen long closings bring results.

It has been reported the jury was very engaged during both closings taking copious notes, and that's really the way it should be in any case.

I'm hoping the nurse may be picked as Foreperson.

Actually someone posted a tweet saying during defense’s closing Argument the jury was getting weary and restless.

Blackwell is showing cropped photo of little girl in the green “LOVE” sweatshirt, basically saying that even she could tell what was happening and was crying out, that you don’t need a “PHD” or “MD” to....

My thoughts exactly.

Why do you hope the nurse will be picked as the foreperson?

I expect with his experience he is thinking there is a strong chance on some sort of conviction here and wants to give Nelson less on appeal. He was a defense attorney himself.

Is Nelson doodling? He doesn’t seem to be writing much and he’s all over the page as if he’s doodling

Blackwell is absolutely correct: Chauvin had all the power!!!

Yes he did.
As do I. I feel Blackwell is doing a fabulous job with this rebuttal.

I feel a bit sorry for Nelson, he really had an uphill climb with this case and this client. I think he has done an admirable job but Justice will be done. I am pretty confident.

I don't feel any sympathy for Nelson. His defense blamed what he characterized as the "angry mob" of bystanders who consisted of mainly young people/children and a first responder.

Nelson's defense has blamed George Floyd for his own death at the hand of Derek Chauvin.

Derek Chauvin's willful actions led to George Floyd's death.

9 minutes 29 seconds.

When Derek Chauvin was informed that George had no pulse, DC continued to press his knee into George's neck and back.

Depraved mind element has been proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

Did they just cut off Blackwell???
