Authorities searching for missing Cass Co. sisters

Looks like Pillager is part of Sylvan Township, area looks very rural.

Those pictures of the girls look posed to me. Not like they’re posing for fun but being told how to sit, where to put their hands, how to hold their head.

I wonder why they ran away, if they ran away. It’s hard for two girls that age to go any distance and find a place to stay without the help of someone who is at least old enough to drive.

MOO

I also wonder why would an 8 year old want to run away with her older sister, especially at night? Where would they go, would the younger sister be able to keep up?

I 100% agree those photos are staged/posed IMO.

I cringe at the thought of them ever being seen by anyone except family, but their photos look very similar to ones that were taken of myself around that age. I grew up in a loving family and as awful as they were, my parents paid good money for those photos.

I may be naive or simply hoping for an innocent reason for them being missing, but am trying not to read too much into those pictures.

I was debating whether or not to say that the pictures made me a little uncomfortable, but I see that everyone is having the same thoughts! I hope everything is okay at home for these two.

Trying to think of the last case I followed that was in Cass County? Anyone remember, it was a child too. Was it the little girl who was taken from the home by a friend of the Dad who stayed the night at the house?

Hoping these two are found safe! I want to know what they are running away from!!

Why leave the safety of your home and go out into the darkness in the middle of the night? Something isn't right ...

The poses are definitely 'dated' -- something you'd expect to see in an album from the 80s or 90s, but I wouldn't read too much into it. Over-posing people (especially kids) seems like a pretty common "rookie" mistake for people just getting into portrait photography.

MOO (as a hobbyist photographer myself)
