Hopkins police still searching for missing 4-year-old boy with autism

Hopkins police issued an emergency alert Sunday morning for the boy, later identified as Waeys Ali Mohamed. According to police, he is nonverbal and was last seen around 7:30 a.m. along the 1200 block of Second Street Northeast.

Hopkins police said a search volunteer found the body of a missing 4-year-old boy Monday morning in Minnehaha Creek. The missing boy was confirmed by law enforcement to be Waeys Ali Mohamed.
