Busch is guilty as hell. The Medical Examiner's report came out today and Martin's septum was totally gone!! That is a symptom of massive cocaine abuse! She snorted so much the middle part of your nose wastes away!

That's a common symptom among serial coke abusers.

Plus Busch refused to cooperate with police since he knows he's guilty! That lady would've never had the money to buy all that coke!

Even journalists who read the final M.E. report said it's a suspicious death and the circumstances haven't been explained properly.

This Busch guy had his criminal defense attorney present when the police got there and they could not question him and still refuses to answer questions.

How many people find a close friend dead and call a high-profile criminal defense attorney to be present before the cops arrive? Really weird case and it really stinks too.

LOL..he refuses to talk to police or the D.A., he makes sure the body is cremated, has a loaded shotgun and glock with an extended magazine in his house, plus they find coke straws on the bed and in Martin's pocket.

Plus Busch's ex-girlfriend in Arizona died with cocaine in her!

Now tell me Busch had nothing to do with the death of this girl!! Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!

Reports are divided on what time Busch arose
While the time of the 911 call — 1:12 p.m. — is not in dispute, the discrepancy is in the time Busch arose, retrieved protein shakes for himself and Martin from the kitchen and found her unresponsive.

The Post-Dispatch reported Dec. 25 that about 40 minutes passed before 911 was called, based on the medical examiner's report. Indeed, that report, publicly released Thursday, says Busch found her at 12:30 p.m.

But various other reports and accounts say Busch arose that day as early as 11 a.m. and as late as 1 p.m.

Wendell Payne, a medical examiner's investigator, told his bosses he received his information from police at the scene. He wrote that he could not interview Busch because of the presence of Busch's lawyer, Art Margulis.

Frontenac police, who did interview Busch, said he told them he was up about 1 p.m., although one of the police reports indicates it was 12:30.
The above is important, of course, because....
....St. Louis County Medical Examiner Mary Case said Martin was dead "a very short period of time" before she was found. Case speculated that death occurred within an hour of discovery. Case said that is based on Martin's liver temperature, which was still 96 degrees several hours after she was pronounced dead.
and then, more discrepancies.....
Police and medical examiner's officials met Feb. 3, according to the reports, to discuss discrepancies:

• That police had notified next of kin. Police said Busch had already done that in a call to Martin's mother.

• That Busch and Martin were drinking the night before, and went to bed about 3:30 a.m. Police said Busch told them he went to bed first and Martin later, and they had not been drinking. No alcohol was detected in Martin's system.

• That Martin had a history of depression. Police said nobody had said it to them.

• That Martin had a "history of engaging illicit drugs." Police said they had no such information at the time.

• That Martin had no complaints when last seen alive. Police said they were told Martin had spoken of not feeling good in the days before she died.

Wfgodot, if that prosecutor had any balls he'd keep trying. He actually is known to be a pretty tough prosecutor but I suppose he's thinking he needs to have a case beyond a reasonable doubt.

He knows he Busch will hire a dream defense team if he has to.

But Prosecutor McCulloh said he would look into again if there was new evidence but how is that going to happen??

Ive read through everything I can find, including all 55 (approx) pages of the me/autopsy report. If she had part of her septum gone from snorting...it was chronic and over a longer period of time than a one night binge. I don't think he's guilty of anything other than poor judgement in using illicit drugs. This goes on every day, in people's lives you'd never expect. Just because friends/ex said she was "against drug use" doesnt mean she hadnt been experimenting. She was a young mother and wife...and busch offered her a life of extravagance.

I'm sharing this because I am "one of those" girlfriends/models that's with an older, wealthy guy (whom I genuinely love). It's been almost 2 years. I've never seen so many drugs floating around in those circles...like candy. I dont see it as strange, at all. When I was just divorced, current bf and I went to Vegas and at that point in life, I partied as hard as I could.

Ex and maybe mother (on iPhone - hard to check back through things, but I will on computer) said she had been upset about something unrelated to relationship. Heaviest abuse is during stress for many. I don't blame busch for supplying, either. If he used, I'm sure he shared. Not uncommon at all.

Did I miss something major like pills in her mouth she couldn't have put there? She could have been taking Oxy all on her own - I did (another opiate), and no one in a million years would have guessed it.

MOO.

I dont think badly of her or him (for this incident) at all - I've been there to some extent. I really feel badly for all involved, including Busch. If I were to have died in that manner, I wouldn't want bf blamed for it - that would break my heart. I just can't see how he could have caused her death. PR/attorneys for families like this are on call 24/7 and prob. lived very close by. Prayers for her little boy.

So privilege trumps justice.

When I was in middle school, I got into trouble for not saying the pledge of allegience. When asked why, I said something to the effect of "because there ISN'T liberty and justice for all!"

Sadly, yes. Many times privilege(financial backing for good attorneys, societal position, etc.) does trump justice - but I don't believe so here.

Hugs to you, wfgodot. :blowkiss:

According to the coroner's report, she was found in bed, on top of the covers, fully dressed and wearing a jacket?

IIRC Bush stated that she was sleeping next to him, he woke up, went to fix an energy drink and found her unresponsive in bed.

Was she sleeping in her clothes? On top of the covers? Or was she moved to the bed from some other location?

I understood it as sleeping in her clothes - spandex pants and socks (but one was off).

I've fallen asleep many times in my "clothes" - generally wear the same thing around the house and to bed. Now if she had had on jeans, etc. that would be different - although I've woken up in my jeans after a long night, too! =)

ST. LOUIS COUNTY • A wrongful-death suit filed this morning against August Busch IV on behalf of the 8-year-old son of Adrienne Martin claims "carelessness and negligence" in Martin's drug-overdose death last year. The case, filed in St. Louis County Circuit Court, seeks unspecified damages on behalf of Blake Alexander Martin, age 8. His father, Dr. Kevin Martin, is a plaintiff as his guardian. In a response already filed, Busch acknowledges that Adrienne Martin, 27, was a guest at Busch's Huntleigh mansion denies any negligence.

Blake Alexander Martin, with his father, Dr. Kevin Martin, acting as a guardian plaintiff for the minor, filed the suit Thursday in St. Louis County Circuit Court against Busch, 46.

The Martins said the death of 27-year-old Adrienne Martin was the result of Busch's "carelessness and negligence," according to the suit.

In his response to the suit, Busch said Adrienne Martin was a guest in his home but denies any liability for her death

Didn't he buy his way out of the car accident too?

Adrienne Martin's parents - mother Christine Trampler of Ozark, Mo., and estranged father, George "Larry" Eby - are appealing to join their nine-year old grandson as plaintiffs in the lawsuit, which would give them greater control over legal strategy and approval of a $1.5 million settlement offer. A lower court judge rejected their attempt earlier this year, but ruled that they could still argue for a portion of the money.

Honestly I don't know why there is a settlement at all. Ms. Martin took drugs and she died because of it. Sometimes we just need to accept that the people we love do things that hurt them and occasionally they die because of it. Blaming someone else isn't going to change that.

If the person she was with when she died wasn't rich then there probably wouldn't be a lawsuit. And why in the world would either of the parents need to have a portion of the money? Since there is a settlement, every dime should go to the care and well being of the child.
