Missing Endangered Alert: 55-year-old woman last seen near Research Medical Center
55-year-old Anita Mitchell has been missing since early Sunday morning, the Kansas City Police Department reports.
Mitchell is 5′4 and approximately 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen around 5 a.m. on Sept. 28 near Meyer Boulevard and Prospect Avenue, just outside Research Medical Center.

12h ·MISSING PERSON Anita Mitchell, 55 yrs old, 5’4”, 170 lbs, black hair, brown eyes was last seen on 09/28/2024, at approximately 05:00am, near the area of Meyer Boulevard and Prospect Avenue wearing a blue hospital gown.
Anita has diagnosed health issues and her family is concerned for welfare. If located, call 911 or the KCPD Missing Person Squad at 816-234-5043.
(Note: Kansas City PD says that she was last seen 09/28/24 at 5:00 a.m. That is Saturday morning. Most of the MSM articles say that she has been missing since early Sunday morning -- then they quote the PD release giving the date of 09/28/24.)
