HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A benefit for the family of a missing Hannibal woman takes place today at the Shirley Bomar Community Building, 253 Munger Lane.

The event begins at noon with a bake sale and carryout spaghetti dinners. The eat-in spaghetti dinner starts at 5 p.m. and is $10.

There wll also be a silent auction during the day and a live auction at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds will go to a reward fund, with money being offered for the safe return of Christina Whittaker. She disappeared from Hannibal three months ago.

Parents, family and friends say they are still hopeful she will return home.

I could see why the family is upset. I'm sure LE questioned the family from the outset and apparently saw nothing suspicious. Then you get these two bit 'experts' hired by a show for ratings saying the opposite.

HANNIBAL, MO. -- A Hannibal family still hasn't given up hope of finding their beloved daughter and mother. Thursday will mark Christina Whittaker's 22nd birthday. You'll recall she disappeared after leaving a Hannibal tavern in November.

I'm no expert on facial comparison, but this was odd to say the least.

If you google "Christina Whittaker" and add the word "facebook", you should be able to see a young woman who says she is living in East Lansing, MI.

Not saying it is her but I had to do a double take.
 
I would have posted the link, but not sure of all the rules and with things like FB, who knows what would come through without signing on.
 
I am guessing THAT Christina Whittaker I saw on FB is not the same as THIS Christina Whittaker.

Mysteriously the FB profile pic changed in the days since I posted my FB find so the face no longer looks like the missing Christina Whittaker.
 
Christina, are you out there????

It will be 6 months since Christina's been reported missing.

I just got done watching the Steve Wilko Show and immediately searched the Internet for new information and learned the boyfriend who twice flunked the lie detector test administered by the show passed a lie detector test administrated by the police department after the show.

If I didn't have access to the Internet or an inquiring mind, I'd be thinking he was guilty of murdering Christina and that he knew where she was.

How can a person fail two lie detector tests administrated by the Steve Wilko Show's professional polygraph examiner, who stated there was only 1% chance he was telling the truth, then pass one given later?

No wonder lie detector tests aren't admissible in court.
