Yes, DoJ's letter (of yesterday?) focused only on support-OW-wristband issue, but
also referenced the DoJ's letter of earlier this week - reminding FPD LEOs to display their name/IDs on uniform.
Imo these letters just cover two points, which are -already probably, imo - SOP for FPD & other PDs involved.
Imo, DoJ's letters were 'reminders' to the PDs involved to follow their SOP's re uniforms.

I believe DoJ's comprehensive report of findings and recommendation for actions, will be issued waaaay down the road.
Perhaps months away?

JM2cts, moo, jmo.

I think you're right about that.

My guess is: It will condemn them more than many here think and a lot less than some of the protesters think.

I agree. I felt the same way when I was protesting as a Berkeley college student, going to anti-war sit-ins. I loved the passionate meetings and making the plans and the excitement. But when some of the peeps got too much like anarchists, I had to step back.

I wish someone with true wisdom could step in and guide all of this energy into a more productive mission. They should be working towards positive community goals, helping the kids, helping the schools, running a free lunch program for the elderly, building local black owned businesses, etc etc.

Instead, they are single handedly running successful business out of their own neighborhoods.

Thank you. Why is that such a hard concept for people to understand?

Just in time to protest again

Again, Tyler and Dasha of @lostvoices14 have been bailed out and Abby of @handsupunited_. @SlewZQ has confirmed this. #Ferguson
I was hoping they'd put at least a 24 hour hold on the agitators, to weaken them for tonight. :/

Watch tonight turn to a fizzle. Lol
Oh well. I'm not loading any pages or feeds until we're sure. It doesn't feel right to help punks benefit from page views.

@Patricialicious now we just need someone out there with a good camera snapping a pic of each officer and his nametag each night

Whose father was a Black Panther. She sent two interns into the street to block traffic, attends and instigates the riots, rumbled with a fellow state Senator, and publicly cussed out the Gov.

ETA: that's not the norm for most state senators in the US

Jamilah Nasheed is a Dem from the City of StL representing District 5 in the MO State Senate; she was also a State Rep prior to being in the State Senate

MO politics is like Peyton Place IMHO

I'm sitting here watching channel 11 news and I hear, "DOJ has told Ferguson PD that they are not
to wear 'I am Darren Wilson' wristbands. They will wear name tags or be reprimanded."

Let's see: Choice 1: Be reprimanded. Choice 2: Let every crazy out there be able to hunt down personal information. I'd pick 1.

The world is truly upside down.

I turned my feed off from Argus. All they're doing is talking among a small group about how the police are agitating protesters.

It's ridiculous as well as dangerous to expect LE to wear name tags! I hope they refuse to do so. Do the cops have to wear these name tags? What happens if they all refuse? Maybe they should all wear name tags with the name Officer Darren Wilson!

I really hope these thugs can be shut down permanently. There's no way after almost six weeks of this crap that all this will just fizzle out now. I pray for safety for all LE.

Don't forget her whole, "My intern got run over by the KKK!" crazy setup nonsense.

I think your 'guess' - however you arrived at it - is on target.

Listening to these self-proclaimed 'revolutionaries' chatting on the Argus feed I find it is not the depth of ignorance that is so depressing, it is the sheer breadth.

Well the feed was turned off for now. I don't know why, but the one guy was whining about being hungry, tired and sick. Said the feeds will be back up, but didn't know when.
