Second-degree murder charges have been dropped against a West Plains related to the death of his 18-month-old stepdaughter three years ago.

The Missouri attorney general’s office requested that Judge Max Price dismiss the charges against Joseph Frye because of “inconsistent information from the medical examiner.”

If he didn't injure her and kill her, someone did....Who is it then ??? Babies don't inflict large, unusual bruises and blunt force trauma upon themselves. What a sweet, adorable little child.

Oh well lets dismiss charges the mother doesn't think her husband could kill her daughter.
this is a sad case. A tear in the small intestines had to be extremely painful. This poor child suffered at least a hour after the injury according to the ME in news report. Jaycee may never get justice!

I know, poor Jaycee! The state board should saction the medical examiner for not keeping tissue samples and other evidence that was crucial in this case.

Rest in peace sweet baby!
