SHOCK!!!! The daughter that I said was in college has now been arrested, too.

Her daughter, Rachel Staudte, 22, was charged with the same counts Saturday.

Both women are jailed without bond. A spokeswoman for the Greene County prosecutor's office didn't immediately return an email Saturday from The Associated Press. It wasn't clear if the women had attorneys.

The Springfield News-Leader, citing the probable cause statement in Rachel Staudte's case, said Diane Staudte originally told police she was the only one involved. But the statement said that when Rachel Staudte was confronted with evidence, she admitted to taking part in the deaths and assault.

During a subsequent interview, Diane Staudte then admitted that she and Rachel Staudte had planned, researched and committed the crimes together, the statement said.

The anonymous caller said to look at two or three deaths. I wonder if there could be someone who died before the husband.

I see the FB but not the picture you are referencing.

This woman acted like the perfect Christian woman-singing in the choir, hanging out with the pastor, etc... Apparently, the daughter that just graduated what her little darling. Straight A's, Dean's List, etc... Apparently, the others just never measured up.

And to see their FB's filled with such beautiful sentiments and otherwise whimsical funny posts that I see all of the time on my own FB wall. Yet all along these 2 demos are plotting murder of their won family!!!

I'm dashing out the door so don't have time to look, but earlier when looking through DS's FB page I saw a comment from someone thanking DS for letting her know that her aunt (could have been uncle....just can't recall off the top) died. It made me wonder how that individual died and if Diane enjoyed the sympathy and attention from tragedy in her family.

Now that it appears her daughter, RS, was complicit in some murders, I'm leaning less to the attention, and more to a twisted perfectionism and not wanting to waste time or money on those who 'bother them' or don't measure up.

I think they should look at the aunt's death too.

ETA: Forgot to say that I only noticed Diane mention Rachel and have photos of Rachel. No photos of her husband, her son or her two other daughters...just quick mentions when they died or, in Sarah's case, when she was in ICU.
 
I am guessing Rachel was her favorite, and the other children didn't measure up.

I wasn't sure if weight was what was being discussed or not. She is thin but I do know people that are naturally this thin no matter how much they eat. Just wanted to be on the same page in case I was seeing the wrong photo
 
Munchausen gone wrong? Maybe she enjoyed the attention of being the grieving family member?

Note the post made on Dec 31 she mentions that 2012 has been a year of change then talks about it being the 20th anniversary of her mother's death and she does not mention, at all the husband or son's deaths.
 
An aunt in rehab. The suspect daughter's FB was oddly just like her mom's withall those pics and quotes. The daughter does look possibly anorexic. Hopefully all family members will be checked out for possible kidney or physical damage.
 
Just out of curiosity, did anyone see what denomination the woman was into? I'm not interested in knowing the name of an actual church, just what denomination she may have inserted herself into.
 
Perhaps her own mother's death would be the possible third death. Maybe she was triggered by the anniversary. If she has college aged kids now, that means 20 years ago she was grown enough to have killed back then, too.

She "called herself" a Lutheran. From what I know about the Lutheran faith, it does not condone murder!!!
