Bet most of us have the same questions for these "friends."

Smith's friends stated he became separated from them while they were in St. Louis and haven't seen him since.

St. Louis is a big place. Separated at a bar, concert, park, hockey game, shopping mall?

Yes agreed! WHERE in St. Louis? "Well we left the Irish pub around midnight and..????". He just walked away? Did they have a fight? Did he go buy a drink or candy bar or something and said he'd catch up and never did? The "friends" couldn't even provide a street name, a neighborhood, or the vicinity around a place they visited or anything more specific to narrow it down? Were they even interrogated? It seems like there would be way more information available had they been.

I notice a lot of St. Louis MP reports are lacking in the most basic of information similar to this. Are the investigators there that overwhelmed where they just take the report and do very little in following through? Otherwise why wouldn't these MP cases have more details of their last known whereabouts?

Probably not too interested in a missing adult?

But, certainly this mother (and the taxpayers) deserve better.

What a tragedy.
My heart goes out to his mother. A young man spreading his wings, he was supposed to be safer in the city because he was with friends. So what happened? What kind of information did his friends provide?
