I've spent the last couple of hours pouring over NamUs and Canadian missing persons. No luck. Maybe she hasn't been reported missing yet? I looked at bars, clubs, events and such in the surrounding areas, then cross referenced social media to see if anyone "checked in" or tagged photos at them from around october 1st. No luck yet.

You're a true sleuth - well done.

Just skimmed through escort ads in surrounding cities looking for tattoos. No luck. Also should probably take a break to scrub my computer for spyware.

Thanks for the link creepedout. I found two more recent missing cases with blue hair but neither have any mention of tattoos in their files. In case anyone wants to check them out they are
Tiffany Greigo: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/34721/9
Erica Hall: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/show/34435

Erica's file says her hair was dyed purple but it had faded to a light tint. I was thinking that could look blue. Is it possible the people who reported these girls missing just didn't know about their tattoos? Probably not. I'll keep looking.

I could be way off beam, but a sun dress and flip-flops don't sound to me like your typical hitch hiking clobber.

This person had to have at least known ONE person who would recognize her tattoo's .. those are specific and not hard to forget (the two wolves, the foot/ankle one) ... unless she was not from the area and people in her actual area still don't realize she is missing .. are the reports of her being found/pictures of tattoos being circulated outside of the MO/local area?

So far the news has been fairly local but I think the story is getting more coverage since they released the pictures of her tattoos. I hope they release a sketch of her face and other details (height, weight, etc) soon. The thought occurred to me that perhaps she was a run away or trafficking victim that got tattoos after leaving home. Maybe she never dyed her hair blue when she was at home either. Her family and friends wouldn't recognize those details if these were all things she did in the past few years when she was gone.

The tattoo on our Jane Doe's foot/ankle is actually on the right, not the left. Anyhow, I wanted to add that someone posted on one of the Facebook posts that someone named Sharon Kay said she served food to our Jane Doe before everything happened. Several people now suspect that Sharon Kay knows something and are asking her to come forward, but there is no word if she has even been brought in for questioning. The post has apparently been taken down, but one or two other uses say they took screenshots of the post. I will ask them to share it with me when I get home and will then share it here.

Sorry I typed the wrong foot earlier. Thanks for the correction. Were the posts on the police fb? If they were, then LE is probably already aware of them. Hopefully she contacted them directly after posting or they tracked her down for an interview. If the posts are from anywhere other than the police fb, please hold onto them but don't post them here (they would be against TOS). Send them to LE if you haven't already. Thanks!

I saw that post too, but I found it a little strange... like she just threw it out there she served her food while people were talking about whether or not blue hair is nice. Just my opinion though, and of course I once again forgot to screenshot. (Well "forgot" because it seemed so random to me. It was on the police FB.)

Edit: found the post, hasn't been deleted. See my next post for the screenshot. (Is it OK to have the names visible of the people who were posting? Again, this is on the police department Phelps FB.)

I wonder what restaurant she says she was served at and if the Police have contacted her to see if anyone else there that night may have seen her or who she was with, etc ..

She said she was in Missouri, so that means it was likely fairly close to the time that our Doe was killed. She may be among the last people to see her alive. Beetlegeuse, thank you for providing that screenshot, especially since I missed it. The other post I referred to, which mentioned our Doe possibly being seen in Wyoming and being from Kentucky, was also on the Phelps County sheriff's page, and the poster said she had contacted them already with the information she has, so LE is definitely aware of that detail.

I checked out the profile of the poster of the comment saying they served Jane Doe, and assuming the post was truthful, their profile says Cuba, MO. Some further digging revealed that there is at least one exit leading to Cuba from I-44, that being exit 208. Jane Doe was found at mile marker 171, so assuming the poster was telling the truth about serving Jane Doe, and assuming foul play was involved, she was killed as far as 40 miles, perhaps a few more, depending on how far they were from the interstate, from the spot she was found.
