omg im so glad the boys are safe but WTF they will need serious therapy! they saw that!!! my heart is breaking, that poor baby.

I was so scared for these babies. So happy they are safe.

I'm local to this story and think a woman connected to the case (driving the car in the report) door dinged me in the parking lot at my work today shortly before the Amber alert went out. I saw the little boy in the back seat of that car. I'm totally freaked out now but so thankful these babies are safe!

You might want to call and report it. I'm not sure if you're talking about the mother involved in this or some other female, but if it was a second female, that means this guy may have an accomplice.

Daddy is on the run now, and he killed his own offspring by mistake, but he's gonna have to pay the price for that.

I did report it :) I called 911 as soon as I got the alert however that was 30 minutes after I saw them but I'm hoping some of the info was helpful

So glad to return home and find this news!

Diata Crockett is still missing and is considered armed and dangerous. His car was located at the Canfield Green Apartments in Ferguson, but the search is still on for him.

Court documents show Crockett's latest felony charges in 2010 included unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and forgery. In his first convictions more than 10 years ago, he received suspended sentences for burglary and tampering with a vehicle. The Department of Corrections say Crockett was sent to prison in June 2011. But by December 2011, he was let out and put on parole. Crockett violated that parole and has had a warrant out for his arrest since January 2013.

Police Chief Sam Dotson said Crockett had made suicidal and homicidal threats against himself and his family prior to the shooting.

His mother tearfully asked for Crockett to turn himself in late Tuesday.

“My plea is for you to be an honorable man and stand up like a man,” she said, addressing her adult son in an interview with KMOV-TV.

“Come here and let it be what it be — for your kids — do that because it’s right,” the unnamed woman said. “That’s how we raised you.”
