Friday, March 13th:
*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 10am CT) - MO - Savannah Leckie (16) (July 19, 2017, Theodosia) – for *Robert Peat, Jr. (31/now 33) (BF of mom) indicted (7/18/17) on 1st & 2nd degree murder, abuse of a child resulting in death, tampering with evidence & abandonment of corpse. Plead not guilty. No bond. 7/6/18 Released on own recognizance.
Trial was to start July 30th, but has been cancelled, next hearing Oct. 16, 2018 re “new” developments in case per DA. July 5, 2018 hearing, Judge Calvin Holden ruled that Peat could be released on his own recognizance “to reside with his family in Ozark County” with GPS monitoring by Court Probationary Services. 5/24/19: GPS monitoring removed, must report twice weekly to probation officer.

5/24/19 Update: The court removed the stipulation that Peat be monitored by GPS during a May 24 court hearing. According to online records, Peat was ordered to report twice weekly to a probation officer with Court Probationary Services. 6/12/19 Update: Next pretrial hearing on 2/7/20 in Springfield.
2/7/20 Update: on 1/31/20 Motion for Continuance; 2/3/20 withdrawal of Motion for Continuance. Pretrial conference set for 3/13/20 at 10am.
*Rebecca Ruud (39/now 42) – Pretrial Conference hearing on 3/30/20.

I read that Connecticut is postponing all jury trials until more is known about the possible COVID-19 pandemic. Wonder if that will happen in other states?

6/12/19 Update: Defense files motion for trial continuance-granted. Trial now scheduled for 1/27 thru 1/31/20. Next motions hearing on 1/13/20. Bench trial set to begin 1/27/20 thru 1/31/20.
1/13/20 Update: Pretrial hearing (1/13/20) & trial (1/27/20) will likely be rescheduled, due to an unexpected complication – the disappearance of Alex Holden (in Sacramento on New Year's eve), the son of Circuit Judge Calvin Holden, who is assigned to the case. The expected cancellation & resetting of Ruud’s trial will be the fifth time it has been rescheduled since it was filed in Taney County Court on a change of venue motion in October 2017. Evidentiary hearing scheduled for 1/13/20 was not held. Bench Trial date of 1/27/20 quashed. Case reset for 2/7/20 at 9:30am.
2/7/20 Update: on 1/31/20 Motion for Sub of Counsel-Entry of Appearance and Substitution of Counsel; on courts own motion case setting on 27/20 is quashed. Writ date of 2/7/20 is also quashed. Pretrial conference reset for 3/30/20 at 1:30pm in Greene County.
3/23/20 Update: Pretrial conference hearing on 3/30 is quashed. Further dates pending. As of 3/30/20 no update.

I am doing fine, glad you are also.

Everything is the same. I am not sure why they haven't got something rescheduled by now. It said counsel was to contact the judge, not sure if that is hers or the DA, to do the scheduling.
