Also, someone remind me, is Peat still walking around free?
Per my notes:
July 5 hearing, Judge Calvin Holden ruled that Peat could be released on his own recognizance “to reside with his family in Ozark County” with GPS monitoring by Court Probationary Services.
Is this more recent info than your notes? This article says no longer monitored: “https://ozarkcountytimes.com/news-l...-issued-leckie-murder-case-now-2-plus-years-0
from that link - I get this message:
Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
So - not going to it - maybe you can get me a quote & date? TIA!
I get the same warning message...
I posted this over in Alex Holden's thread but copying here for discussion:
Is there any chance that Alex Holden disappearing is related to his dad being the judge on the Savannah Leckie murder case? My first thought is that it's probably unrelated... but wondering if someone wants to sway a judge could holding his son for ransom or murdering his son be part of their scheme? It's the 5th time that Rebecca Rudd's trial has been rescheduled and it's also undergone three judges and a change of venue. Rudd also waived her right to a jury trial and instead opted for a bench trial which I find very unusual-- that means the judge decides her fate.
Also, someone remind me, is Peat still walking around free?
@Jewels53 - any updates on the court site yet? TIA!
