NOEL, Mo. -- The McDonald County Sheriff's Office identified a woman found alongside a highway in July. Now, investigators need your help to locate her three kids.

Investigators say Jessica McCormack's body was found along Highway 59 near Noel. Her body was lying next to an open suitcase. Investigators say her three kids are missing too. The kids are Siah Casillas, 4, Saidah Noor, 1 and infant Intisar Mahamed. Family say McCormack and her three kids were last seen July 3.

After the initial discovery of the body, investigators followed several leads. During the investigation, it was determined McCormack had not been heard from for approximately a month, but authorities were not notified by anyone of any concerns that she was missing. Due to the condition of the body investigators were cautious, not wanting to misidentify her.

McCormack was last seen in the Noel area about the middle of July, the sheriff said. Friends recall seeing all three children with her before that on July 3.

"All three kids have different fathers," the sheriff said.

Hall said two of the girls' fathers are part of the Somali community in Noel. The third father is an Hispanic American. Hall said one of those fathers has come forward and filed a missing-person report with regard to his daughter, The other two fathers have yet to be located by investigators, he said.

The sheriff said the children have been entered into the National Crime Information Center's database as missing and endangered. The McDonald County Sheriff's Department was working Thursday with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on the issuance of an Amber Alert with respect to the children.

Investigators believe the body found on the hillside had been in a suitcase found near the body. Hall said they expect physical evidence sent off for analysis at a crime lab to confirm that suspicion.

An autopsy was unable to determine the cause or manner of the woman's death because of the extent of decomposition that had taken place. The medical examiner is awaiting toxicology test results before ruling on either cause or manner of death.

But the circumstances of the case strongly suggest homicide, according to the sheriff.

"She wasn't put in the suitcase on her own," Hall said.

I looked her up on Facebook and we have a mutual friend! It shows she is from Carthage Missouri, which is where I am originally from, but she is quite a bit younger than me and I haven’t lived there in 15 years. Hope them babies are found soon!

Yet another Mom that goes missing and no one reports her missing for 2 or 3 weeks?

Investigators think she was inside the suitcase found near her body? How did her body get out of the suitcase?

WHO has the three kids?!!!

One of the baby daddies is posting on Facebook as of 9 hours ago, not sure if he is one of the fathers they say they haven’t located yet....

KOAM reports the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office tentatively identified the woman as 25-year-old Jessica McCormack, who had not been seen since mid-July.

The children are 4-year-old Siah Casillas, 20-month-old Saidah Noor, and 7-month-old Intisar Mahamed. They were last seen around July 3.

Hall said last week that investigators believe the suitcase was apparently tossed from a vehicle and then rolled down a hill. He says it appears the woman's body eventually fell out of the suitcase as it deteriorated.

The sheriff’s office says the kids are possibly endangered. They're working with the Missouri State Highway Patrol to determine what type of alert is appropriate.

"Three children linked to a possible homicide investigation in Missouri were safely located in Des Moines [Iowa] on Thursday night. Sgt. Paul Parizek, spokesman for the Des Moines Police Department, said police found a 4-year-old, a 20-month-old and a 7-month-old, the children of Jessica McCormack, 25, who went missing in mid-July.

The children were dropped off by their father at a relative's home in the 6000 block of Creston Ave. a few days prior, Parizek said. That's where they were found by police on Thursday....

Parizek said the father is a person of interest in the case, though no warrants have been issued. There is no indication the father is still in Des Moines, though police are working to confirm this, he said...

Des Moines police are working with Missouri officials and the Department of Human Services to find safe and proper placement for the children."
