In today's hearing one of the motions is a protective order in which Baez wants to keep the State
from releasing Casey's photobucket photos. Mention is made that many of these photos are already in the public domain. Baez blames leaks from Law Enforcement over this. Does he not realize that Casey's photobucket was set to PUBLIC and many of us simply downloaded the photos that were available when this case first broke? It is ridiculous!

I think that since the photos were put on PHOTOBUCKET, which is a photo sharing account (and unless they were set to private), they should be released.

I don't like the allegation of LEAKS when any monkey could have gone and pulled these up...

When a case breaks, it's like spontaneous sleuthing. MySpace, FaceBook, Photobucket, Piccasa, et al are the first places searched.

This, IMO, makes JB look foolish because to me it looks like he doesn't understand how the Interweb works. Those Photobucket photos, unless set to private, are available to the public at all times. Sheesh. You can search for Icons and Quotes and photos, such as the "why do people kill people who kill people, etc" and take em and claim them as their own. Many people collect them. I have an Avatar Album that is embarrassing. I like Avatars. I make em, I post them up and occasionally I see one of mine on another persons account.

Who was it that had the graphic "Win her over with chloroform" ? Things like that, shock value humor, are all over Photobucket, MySpace and Tiny Pic and all the like. As a matter of fact, I probably snagged a few of KC's icons for myself.

This kind of thing makes JB look bad to me. I have a serious feeling that members HERE had all those photos in their own possesion way before LE even found her account. So did WE leak the photos to the public. NO, duh, they were available to the public the whole time.

Now, if there were albums set to private... then I would think that those photos might be a different story as KC would have had an expectation of privacy based on Photobucket's security policies. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

WESH 2's Bob Kealing reported that there is speculation at the Orange County Courthouse that George and Cindy Anthony may attend the hearing. They have not daughtseen their er in person since December.

IMO I think the judge will seal the video until trial- the medical claims are bogus, that's like saying if you kill someone in a hospital evidence obtained there violates your medical privacy rights. She wasn't going to the nurse for medical treatment, she was just there- jail is a public place.

I think the judge will allow the photos to be released - the SA will explain that its on the "open web" and it could have been anyone that KC knew that released them earlier, not necessarily LE. Things found on the internet are not given the same degree of privacy protection as say a physical photo album found in her house.

If these really are pictures we haven't seen before - ie from a different photobucket account than we all have - I wonder why none of her "friends" have posted them.

Question- the thousands of pictures we saw from KCs photobucket - the icons and stuff - were those from a document dump, or did someone here download her whole photobucket (that we know of) when it was still up? Thanks!

I've been here pretty much from the beginning. Those pictures were out there for the public.

Hmmm...we still haven't seen the 1,200 photos yet. George seemed to think they were the most damaging. While a lot of the images were public...how do we know there weren't more on a private account somewhere? We obviously have not seen them all.

I have a hard time when the family through their attorneys use the words "humiliate", "embarrass", etc. My G-d, there is a murdered child here people. Can someone PLEASE stand up for her? I don't give a hoot how these people feel I'm sorry to say. A little too late for that IMO. Let's get on with it...justice for Caylee.

No kidding. Whatever they are going through doesn't measure up to what Caylee went through. Talk about being self centered.

So far, the judical system seems to be erring on the side of caution in these hearings. If there is any legal leg to stand on at all, these photos will be sealed from the media.

But the HORSE is already out of the barn (because the owner LET HIM OUT), ran around the town and ate all the oats!

These photos were already made public by Casey! Baez just doesn't want anyone else to see them after WHOEVER deleted them...

GOOD POINT!!!!!!!

Although we've seen hundreds of Casey's photobucket pictures from before WHOMEVER deleted them, we aren't allowed to PUBLISH them ourselves because we did not own the copyright.

BUT once the photos are put in a DOCUMENT DUMP then I'm sure the press could then use them and cite them as some kind of public record, right?

Maybe this is a smokescreen, to protect naughty, nasty pics that we don't know about yet, not just your basic, everyday pole dancing stuff that EVERYBODY does. Porny pics of her could fetch a lot of money someday among the crazy murder case buffs.

Regarding the photos that were deleted by Lee - what Lee actually did was use his own computer to remove photos from Casey's myspace page and/or photo bucket account, is that right? LE took possession of Casey's computer and the Anthony home computer on July 16th. The photos would still be found on whichever of those computers Casey used, if I'm understanding this all correctly.

Well, IF the Judge seals these photos then I hope he has the foresight to put on the record that he will hold anyone in contempt (who is an officer of the court or a party to this case) who sells any of these pictures on the side.

Consider this, he wants them sealed so the (potential) jurors won't see them, right? So is he talking about sealing the Photobuckets we've all seen or is there a secret stash of pictures? I don't think the Photobucket photos are all that incriminating.

This bunch of photos are not the ones we have seen. I think we have seen a "couple" of these pics. They were porny. Very porny. This girl was way into more then we know or have seen.
