I agree that this depo may never happen. It is an awful lot of work for the defense to go through when they keep saying that there is no evidence that Caylee was even murdered.

I agree. Unless Casey is willing to get up on the stand and connect Zanny with RK (possible love triangle? LOL), I see all this going nowhere...doesn't raise a scintilla of reasonable doubt in my mind.

I can certainly understand your compassion for nurses....but once you have violated the trust of others by writing bad checks and stealing money( because that's what it is), you kind of give up the NOBLE part.
If it turns out she is lying just to get back at Kronk, will she still be noble?

JK said that she believes in her gut that RK murdered Caylee. That is a much stronger statement than "may be a person of interest in Caylee's disappearance." She publicly accused RK of a crime. I would hope she has something other than what she has already stated as proof.

A deposition is nothing more that an interview that is being recorded by a stenographer.

Until such time as either party asks the stenographer to transcribe the deposition, there is no transcript to disseminate.

And because a transcript costs about two hundred dollars per hour of testimony to transcribe (maybe less), many attorneys do not transcribe them unless they are absolutely sure they will need them.

For example, I bring a digital recorder to most depositions and rely on that when I need to refer to what was said in a deposition.

And what was DC talking about it being a "conflict of interest". He was a meter reader, where's the conflict if he was dating this person or any person who was employed by the county jail? I don't get it?????

IMO this woman is not credible at all. I was going to launch into an explanation of the different features of bipolar, but it's really not worth the effort. There are so many things wrong with this "Hail Mary" form of a defense that it will be laughed out of court. She will be decimated on cross.

If a tape of the interview is in the State's possession, then yes it could be requested by a public records request.

I still state that the rumor started with LP, and the writer of the email you are referencing got her information when LP stated it on NG. If you will recall, the writer of the email you are referencing is also rumored to be affiliated with the writer/writers of the anonymous letter sent to JS....but that is part of another thread, and I am being led astray into offtopic land again....

Gosh, it would be so easy to prove if she was in the hospital that would be a pretty odd thing to lie about.

I am really trying to give everyone a fair shake here, but I have to admit I hate to discount domestic violence reports especially if the potential victim ended up in the hospital. I just feel like so many women are not taken seriously when they accuse their husbands of abuse. By that same token, I REALLY hate it when these kinds of accusations are made against men falsely because that perpetuates the whole problem.

Question...if RK's girlfriend was an employee of the OC jail, wouldn't we have found this out in big bold newspaper headlines by now? Any journalist worth his or her salt would be able to track this down in a heartbeat. How about just simply keeping RK in their sights? Surely, he must be "seeing" this so-called girlfriend. Following her would surely lead to her place of employment. IMO....there's nothing here.

Oh...but this would be BIG...you know how fickle the press can be. They can turn on a dime. NTS, there are no loyalties here, especially when it comes to the media. Stories sell...and this would be one heck of a story. JMHO
