If Casey was going to make a run for it, I think she'd stay domestic, maybe try to go under the radar in a big US city.

No passport control, no pesky foreign languages to learn...

Maybe West coast, but I believe she would have gone out of the country because of the FBI. They would find her here. They would find her out of the country, but some countries do not have extradition treaties with the US and some won't send someone who is up for the death penalty back to the US.

If she was planning to flee, Ireland would be ideal. Caseyomarie, shamrock tattoo and they won't extradite if you're facing the death penalty. She could have languished there for several years.

And there is a direct flight out of MCO to there too. Good thought. She would have to have a passport to get into Ireland though.

I thought that at first, but you have to remember she considered herself "ten feet tall and bulletproof". She considered herself capable of getting out of killing her child thorough her own manipulation so she would have thought nothing about trying it.

Money - CA would have provided that out of the "find Caylee" money. Passport? You can get a fake passport, but you don't really have to have a passport to get OUT of the country, just to get back in. She could have flown or gone by private boat out of Miami to one of the islands then hopped over to Argentina, Mexico,Brazil, or some other country without a passport by a small boat. It takes a little planning but it would have been easy considering where she was starting. You can buy a fake passport and in most of those small countries, you can grease a few palms to get in if necessary. It usually would not even be necessary if she went by boat.

I agree she couldn't run her own life in Orlando, but she evidently kept thinking she was going to get it right the "next" time and that is why I think she would have run. LA or someone else may have been going with her to get her set up there. It is really not that hard to get OUT of the country, just hard to get back in.

True dat. Plans would have been for a one-way ticket. IMHO she would have gone foreign.
No significant risk of that now. I doubt she will live another day not being supported by the government.

Like Mexico, Ireland will eventually extradite if certain conditions are met. I would have guessed she would go somewhere where there is no extradition at all.

Dang, if I commit a crime and need to leave the country, I'm calling you.
She may have been planning on running, it just seemed her life revolved around 50 square miles and she rarely deviated from there. I just couldn't wrap my mind into her leaving the country especially without her Mom. I know they fight and all that but I think KC's survival depends on her Mother. It is like she and her Mother are one person. I don't know. Craziest thing I think I have ever seen.

True, but neither of them will extradite them unless the US agrees to not execute them.

Her mother could have and most likely would have met her later.

I have always said I would go to Vietnam or Cambodia because they have great scuba diving and living is cheap.:laughitup:

They also don't take your passport when you arrive like the Muslim countries in the middle east do.

Most of these places don't sound like so much fun.

Looking at that list makes me very glad I live in the good ol' USA. I'd best make sure I behave.

oh my... La Bella Vita Takes Rwanda...
it's not funny, but it's funny-- trying to imagine Casey assimilating/SURVIVING in any of these places.

No kiddin'! (Or Canada, which I would prefer. Please don't flame me for saying this!) We have no idea who good we've got it!

I know. Boggles the mind. Can you imagine her lying, stealing and other anti-social behavior there!:eek::eek:

Well, they would take care of the "death penalty" for the US. If she stole, they would cut off her hands in the Muslim countries and many of the others too.

She might learn a good lesson there.

I am still trying to figure out which country I would go to if my life depended on it....having a hard time deciding. Kuwait...would she fit in?
