The only reason I can think of that Cindy would not be talking to Casey about the case would be that she already knows what happened and theres nothing to talk about. I hope George and Cindy get charged with accessory after the fact when all is said and done.

Her lawyer told her not to because they can be used as witnesses for the prosecution. He's absolutely right so it is a legitimate excuse.

Reporting Casey is going to the attorney's office to get out of the stress filled house.

Now I have the answers. :) Tony spoke and explains it as such: Leonard is the guarantor of the bond, he put it up, and he can take it back.

Just as if I was to bond out someone with my own money and then I hear they may take off, I can't take the bond back.

So this saves face for Tony as well as Leonard.

LOL..me too sweetie ! When she opens that smart mouth and wise off just an instant dislike for her--- there is proof her grand daughter is deceased and this is how she reacts --- sad.

I Totally agree. When you haven't heard her say any crap for a while, you might feel a tad of sympathy for her losing a grandchild. Then she opens up and you lose everything. I see where Casey learned the lying habit.

I must disagree. A good mother wouldn't spend her time acting like an accessory to a crime, and calling one of her daughter's oldest friends to inform him that Casey is a sociopath to be avoided.

She would have tried a little harder to get her daughter the help she has clearly needed for God only knows how many years.

From the little we've seen of the public face she's chosen to present to the world, Cindy appears to be quite the inadequate mother. At best.

IMO...she was mad as heck at casey when she made those phone calls. nothing could have prepared her for the truth. she just thought casey was keeping caylee away from her and had stolen her credit cards. she was mad as heck. she finds casey and wants her arrested. she acted impulsively when she called 911 the first time. as they fight, she realizes that caylee is really missing and she doesnt know where she is. at that moment, all she could think about was caylee and how mad she was at casey.

it wasnt until later, when she calmed down that she realized the ramifications of what casey has done and what she said to the police. at that point i believe she went into mother mode and has been ever since, just trying to protect her daughter. right or wrong, i feel she's trying to protect casey.

Cindy, IMHO is in total denial. It is sad really. She is acting like she's pshycotic herself. She is probably running on pure adrenaline and is afraid is she stops talking, yelling, denying the truth will creep into her heart and she can't let that happen. If you consider the way she's acting and listen to the words coming out of her mouth, it's just sad. I have a hard time watching/listening to her, it's actually painful to watch. I honestly feel that as bad as she's making herself look she just does not want to admit to herself that Caylee is gone. To us it looks like she's defending Casey with her bizare behavior but if you "look" deeper than the surface, you can tell that she's REALLY is in complete denial. To admit to the evidence would mean admitting that her grandbaby is gone. I really think that no matter what the evidence or how damning she will NOT believe Caylee is gone without a body. Makes me hate Casey even more. (if that's possible).

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I've been lurking for a while after being told that my posts aren't welcome here, and if this post gets me banned, so be it. How utterly refreshing to finally read something written with compassion and understanding of what a horrid thing the Anthony family, and most especially Cindy, are struggling to deal with. I agree completely, Cindy's inability to accept reality is sad and pitiful. The woman needs emotional support, not ridicule and scorn. She's lost her grandchild for gosh sakes, a child that she obviously loved and adored. She is soon going to have to accept that her daughter is a murderer, capable of killing her own child. Perhaps some here could simply accept those things without batting an eyelash, obviously Cindy can't. Someone posted earlier that Cindy "deserves" everything that happens to her. It makes me shudder to see such a dark side of humanity. Who deserves to lose their granddaughter?

Everyone is so concerned about whether Casey might commit suicide. Cindy is the one I worry about. Stephen Grant's father killed himself because he couldn't live with knowledge of what his son had done....and he didn't have half the nation gleefully spewing venom at him.

Yes Cindy is acting frantic and "weird" according to some people. I'd be suspicious of her if she was acting any other way. That poor poor woman.

Thank you, Nicki, for showing me that I am not alone in extending my sympathy to Cindy. You're a good person.

Lady Psych: It has shown no signs of distress. We will either see 1) It will only tell the truth when it has to save itself. or 2) Is it completely unable of telling the truth?

Nope, IT will never tell the truth.

And that's exactly where the insurance company in Texas comes in handy.

Show of hands, please!

Everyone that's buried rotten, maggot-infested pizza in their backyard and had cadaver dogs hit on it - Raise your hand and say "Aye!."

I haven't- but I stepped in dog poop once and it took me and 2 friends to discover where the smell was coming from (does that count?)!!!

The pile was near a dead squirrel, and after we cleaned it up I went inside and had a slice o' pizza LOL

respectfully snipped

Lee was at the Trenton Duckett memorial last night....he said he thinks Caylee is alive....

That is so sad. Maybe he's had a break with reality, too. As prior LE, he knows better than anyone in that family what those results mean.

Honestly, right now I think the Padillas need to move fast to have that bond revoked. Don't give them the courtesy of another day, I fear them turning on the very people who bailed her out of jail.
Tony, Rob, Leonard and crew, pack that winebago up and get to the other side of town, or better, leave before the claws come out!

OMG Tony and LP need to keep a REALLY close eye on this family. At this point I wouldn't put it past Cindy to try to help her daughter "escape" or leave the country. She truly is a crazy piece of work... I guess that is where Casey gets it from....

Lock them both up!!! :behindbar:behindbar:behindbar

TRUE , maybe thats why she made the comment Casey isnt going back to jail:eek:

at that point i believe she went into mother mode and has been ever since, just trying to protect her daughter. right or wrong, i feel she's trying to protect casey.
Sure she is, at the expense of the granddaughter she insisted remain in that house and who is now dead at the hands of the daughter she continues to enable to live in a world of fantasy and denial.

Does no one in this family ever take any responsibility for anything?

It doesn't matter what Cindy says the tow lot owner told her; he gave his statement to LE.

Heresay. IMO.
She is trying to cast her "hocus pocus" spell. I'd like to see her at the very least be warned by LE to not tamper with witnesses connected with this case.
