How could Baez ever prove to a jury that Caylee’s death was accidental without a body to back up his assertion?

If the DNA comes back as Caylee’s, the prosecutor will argue that she was murdered. Casey will say she left her with someone who doesn’t exist. The jury will say, ‘Death by lethal injection.’

With conclusive DNA results, Casey’s only hope of proving accidental death is by producing Caylee’s body for autopsy and hoping it supports her claim.

Or am I missing something here?

Do you think maybe LE feels like someone moved the body? It's a win/win if that's the case, for prosecution - possibly two.

If it was moved and is never found, Casey can't produce a body, therefore relinquishing the deal.

If it is found and has been moved, someone else will be sitting next to Casey in jail.

Even if it wasn't moved but still isn't found, Casey will get zapped.

As far as the BH I feel bad for him. I think he went there because he just wanted to find Caylee. He seems like a kind man.

The samples, which included hair that investigators said was scientifically linked to Caylee, a stain and dirt, came back positive for signs of decomposition. Investigators said more test results were expected.

I think they honestly did think someone had her. That's no different than some of us here who kept believing in the impossible and kept digging and digging to find some way to justify what our hearts really wanted to believe.

I have to admit, when they stepped in and were so sure that someone had Caylee, it gave me the last glimmer of hope that she was possibly still alive.

I'm spent.

If I hear "accident" one more time I'll scream! The way her parents seem to have coddled her, it sure doesn't seem she would've been afraid of them if she'd said Caylee accidentally drowned in the pool, for example. The mother of a child who has accidentally died doesn't go out partying, carry on with her new boyfriend(s) and get a tattoo that means 'beautiful life' either. In addition to all the lies she's told, of course. :furious:

So true...any normal Mother that has a child die by an accident, does not act like Casey. Even if they were scared because the accident was their fault and tried to cover it up...they grieve!!! They do not go out and get their groove on, get a tattoo and throw dinner parties for the BF & friends. No this is not an accident by any sense of the word.

Now, this is out of the way.........I want the Anthony's prosecuted too for trying to derail the investigation. They have a lot of responsibility here and they need to be held accountable also.

I totally agree. They need to find HOW deep they are in this and charge them accordingly. I think many here are going to be shocked when they do finally get to the truth in this case. We aren't there yet. There are going to be many more twists and turns before we arrive at the real truth, IMO.

We can deduce clearly that Caylee is no longer alive. I will state it again as I have done repeatedly throughout this case to date:

Cindy Anthony was the last known person to be seen with Caylee ALIVE from a verified independent source on June 15th, 2008.

I whole heartedly AGREE with you on this, they have done nothing to help with law enforcement since casey was charged!!!!! during the bail hearing she says oh yes they had contact EVERYDAY either via of text or e-mail....she lies for that girl....I dont care if it is her daughter, there is a baby girl DEAD!!!!!!!!!!! there is BLOOD on caseys hands and its caylee's if this grandmother loved her granddaughter that much she would not be doing all this lieing like her daughter...........so but this is my opinion and im sticking to it........as for LP i'd give him a hug because he is man enough to admit when he is wrong and I now believe his heart was in the right place and even if he did get free publicity so what if anyone else would have stepped up they would have gotten it to.........anyone that touches this case is going to get a wide range of open publicity........sorry but ive keeped my mouth shut all day and was very sad and upset about the results I've thought all along she was dead but it just sealed it and that turned my stomache...... i also think that it is great she is out and cant run away or deny visting her parents and she has to face them........but i also think after a couple of days she needs to go back to the slamer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry to go on and on but just wanted to get every thing off my chest at once........tyia

It sickens me beyond words that Casey has been all comfy and cozy thanks to the Padillas. Hot shower, pizza, hugs, ATTENTION! While Caylee is probably nothing but bones, all alone, somewhere....

More about the limited immunity, and this is just my opinion, but I think it should be based on Casey leading LE to Caylee's body, and if she isn't found the deal's off. I also don't think they should go any lower than 2nd degree murder as the top charge and let the jury decide. All this assuming, of course that the DNA tests prove Caylee was the decomposing body in the trunk. :behindbar

I Totally agree... He wanted to find her alive and really wanted to believe he would. That is why he looks and acts the way he is right now. Because like the rest of us, he sadly knows that is not going to happen. His heart was in the right place and I don't believe for one second that he ever lied FOR Casey. He was going with a strategy BECAUSE of his belief that she was alive and I respect him for Immediatly and publicly saying he was wrong. He never tried to cover or back peddle or "spin" it. Once he read the public docs and got this news today, he just seems sad and defeated. His actions speak volumes to me. I can't help but have a soft spot for LP and want to defend his intentions in this because IMO they were always in the right place...

Yes, I caught that... I'm willing to wager that she will be in a cell by tomorrow night. I pray I'm right.. This girl makes me so crazy and so does Cindy... I watch the video where she's being lead in handcuffs and I would love to slap that smug look right off her face...

You are spot on - Casey LOVES herself way too much to ever consider harming herself. Absolutely no chance of that happening IMO.
