They were raised in an environment of entitlement mentality without any moral or ethical values.

I do feel badly for the kids involved, they never had a chance to understand what ethics are. No role models or examples from their parents.[/QUOTE]

That is the reflection of the parents:

Lack of ethics and only situational moral values:

Lori and Mazzimo Gianulli

Willam Macy and Felicity Huffman

Just the tip of the iceberg

One would think they were exposed to values at their private schools. Didn’t one attend a Catholic school?

UC Berkeley - admissions scandal revealed at that school as well, though this dates back a few years:

"David Sidoo, who played for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and later the Canadian Football League, was busted March 8 on charges related to the scam, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reported.

Sidoo allegedly paid someone $200,000 to take the SAT for his sons in 2011 and 2012, according to court documents obtained by the station."

In this case, Berkeley seems blameless. The only loophole exploited was a fraudulently obtained SAT score which seems impossible to detect.

I admit I’m a bit naive when it comes to television and electronics, but could someone explain to me why anyone would suddenly want SIX televisions in ONE room? I think this report saying it’s for ONE luxury entertainment room is a bit of speculation, more likely it’s for different rooms in the home? This sounds just plain silly to me. Or am I missing something? If so, please tell me!
And why are they calling them “panels” ? Is that a new thing just because they’re thinner? Everyone knows TVs today are thinner, so why not just say TV’s? Idk, where’s the “banghead ” emoticon when you need it, LOL.

BBM

My guess, and this is purely a guess, is that the signal goes through a computer set-up and the panels are hung on the wall touching, so the result is one movie-screen-sized image?

Or, hung at angles, so every individual rocker/recliner has a primo view of the screen?

Guessing, the TV at the end of my treadmill has an integrated VHS player.

JMHO YMMV

See what six different news channels are saying about you?

JMO, I actually was feeling a tiny bit sorry for Lori and her family as I heard them losing out on so many financial resources. My husband and I have both lost jobs at one point and struggled to keep the house etc. We live in a state that downsized a lot of their businesses. Had to make the decision between food or medications. We weren't upgrading our theater room during that time.;) Gee Whiz! No wonder, this whole thing is making a lot of us working people really angry!

“They had me wired to go into some folks’ homes, plus my calls were being taped,” Mr. Singer said in court Tuesday. At first, Mr. Singer tipped off six families of the investigation, prosecutors said. In one case, according to his court testimony, he arrived early to a student’s home and told the father that he was being recorded and urged him to “not say anything that would be harmful to you guys.”

So Singer was trying to play both sides? He was working with the feds but at the same time trying to warn off parents? Throw the book at this scum bag!!
