Exactly! Totally agree.

There was a thread started yesterday for Ms. Watts, first name spelled differently though. Is there a way to merge these?

Thank you, apologies to all will report.

Boyfriend was found unresponsive in her car two days after they left on their trip. The next day the missing person report was filed by the police. Not until 6 days later did they disclose that her vehicle with the boyfriend inside had been found.

Thoughts on this case? Maybe LE was waiting until they could interview him to see if he would confess. If he provided no information then they would need more information before they could arrest him so they made the information public? MOO

Timeline: Moore County woman's SUV, boyfriend found before she was even reported missing

This one is troubling. Unresponsive boyfriend who required hospitalization. Her SUV phone are located but not her. At least one article has stated that boyfriend is considered a "person of interest" by LE.

So why does LE seem to be withholding so much? Why wait to say her car, phone, and "unresponsive" new boyfriend had been found? why aren't they plastering said boyfriend's face in the press like Allicia's? asking have you seen this man between the evening of July 16 and July 18th. If so please contact Charlotte-Mecklinburg or Anson County PDs.

leads me to believe that LE think she is no longer living and they are focused now on building a case. Letting the digital devices tell the story of Mr. Dunmore's whereabouts between the 16th and the 18th in hopes of retracing his steps and maybe, finding Allicia. There is seemingly no rush from the outside looking in :(

My heart hurts for Ms. Watts' loved one and friends. How hard this must have been while watching the Carlee Russell case playing out as it has and all that wasted attention from public and press on that hoax. Did they wonder if LE weren't taking their loved one's case as seriously as they should because - Carlee?

Those in the crowd had questions about the timeline Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department gave after police said Tuesday the unresponsive man was Watt's boyfriend, James Dunmore.

"We want to know how they found the guy in her car unresponsive," Watts' friend Arthur Mason Sr. said. "There's got to be more answers that that."

Those in attendance also want to know why it took so long to determine Dunmore was the unresponsive man in Watts' car.

[...]

Attendees of of the vigil will be traveling to Charlotte Wednesday morning to ask the CMPD those very questions. Family and friends of Watts' were taking names of people who were traveling to Charlotte with them at the vigil. The group will also be part of a news conference Wednesday in Charlotte as they seek answers for Watts' whereabouts.

"The mission tomorrow is for us to get back to the bottom of what's going on with Allisha," Mason said. "We need to more answers than what we have right now."

Frustrated with the absolute trickle of information given that in the Russell fake abduction case, an entire press conference was dedicated to reading CR's lawyer's prepared "apology" statement.

Watts' family and friends held a vigil for the missing 39-year-old Tuesday evening.Hundreds of people gathered in Southern Pines to pray for her safe return.

"We want to know how they found the guy in her car unresponsive," said Watts' friend Arthur Mason Sr. "There's got to be more answers than that."

"We want to know why it has taken so long for them to reach the media," Cain said.

Watts' friend Learen Blue announced on Facebook Tuesday that a press conference will be held Wednesday at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. She asked anyone who is available to join them.

The bus is leaving for Charlotte at 8 a.m., and the group will be holding a press conference at 11 a.m.

The conference was organized by the Racial Justice Network and will take place at 601 East Trade Street in Charlotte. You can watch it live on WRAL.com.

'' Jul 25, 2023 CHARLOTTE
A missing persons report for Allisha Watts has been filed only with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. WRAL News learned Tuesday that Allisha Watts' boyfriend was found unresponsive in the missing woman's SUV on July 18, the day before officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) filed a missing persons report for her. According to her family and friends, Watts hasn't been seen or heard from since July 16, when she took a trip to Charlotte. Watt's friend Learen Blue said the 39-year-old traveled to Charlotte the night of July 16 with her new boyfriend, James Dunmore, in her black Mercedes SUV.
Two days later, on July 18, Charlotte authorities found a vehicle with Dunmore inside and have been using its GPS system to track where it had traveled. The SUV was in the parking lot of the Anson County DMV Office in Polkton. On the day after her car was found, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) filed the missing persons report for Watts, 39. On July 20, the Anson County Sheriff's Office was made aware of that report and linked the SUV to Watts.
However, it wasn't until Tuesday, July 25, that authorities announced they had found Dunmore in the car. The Anson County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying Dunmore had also been found along with the SUV on July 18. Dunmore was unresponsive when he was taken to the hospital. His current condition is not known. After the connection was made between the SUV and missing woman, CMPD and the Anson County Sheriff's Office searched the SUV. They also searched the surrounding area for Watts but did not find her. ''

''The Anson County Sheriff’s Office says, the vehicle Watts owns was found on July 18, 2023, in the parking lot of the Anson County DMV office. An unresponsive male, who investigators say was Watts boyfriend, was found inside of it. The man was transported to Atrium Anson. The vehicle has since been turned over to CMPD.
Watts is still missing and family members are concerned for her safety. Anyone who has seen Allisha Watts is asked to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Anson County Sheriff’s Office or Moore County Sheriff’s Office.''

According to Watts' sister, Stephanie Johnson, Watts was last seen with her boyfriend of one year.

The couple met when Watts, who lives in Moore County, North Carolina, would drive to Charlotte to visit her cousin, Gwendolyn Utley, who is the boyfriend's neighbor, Johnson said. Now, every other Friday, Watts drives to Charlotte for the weekend, her sister said.

Johnson said Utley last saw Watts on the afternoon of July 16. The cousins planned to go to Charlotte's Bojangles Coliseum for a comedy show, Johnson said, and when Watts didn't show up, Utley reported her missing.
Family desperate for answers after 39-year-old woman vanishes: 'She needs somebody to advocate for her'

and yet again, more confusing issues muddying the timeline. The boyfriend isn't "new" as some articles described, they've been dating for a year. The phone was not with the SUV but in Dunmore's residence. The SUV at the Anson DMV with unresponsive boyfriend inside. LE didn't report her missing, her cousin, who is Dunmore's neighbor did.

So the SUV and boyfriend are found, boyfriend is "unresponsive", the phone is found at his home. I wonder if the man was literally unconscious and so once they learned who he was and that the SUV owner was unaccounted for, they went to his home, and subsequently found his phone.

Has some sort of foul play happened to both Allicia AND Dunmore? He obviously hasn't been any help to LE but is that through his own choice or is this man in dire medical straights?

Every day that passes things look less likely for a good resolution with Ms. Watts found safe :(

Bumping for Allicia.
One would imagine that LE are considering the boyfriend as a possible poi at this time ?
Unless of course, they both encountered foul play ?
I wonder if he's been able to speak to LE yet.

So sorry for her worried family.
Omo.

I'm curious as to why LE didn't track her phone and the Mercedes after the missing report was filed. Why did they wait until the boyfriend was found in her car and her phone found at his house?
It seems every news item I read on this case has a different story.
