That certainly is what is done quite often -- plainclothes officers will stake out the residence, or workplace (not in this case), etc.

I'm sure people who knew and loved Diana would certainly call in and report a citing. There's lots of territory in which to hide -- old barns, deserted buildings, wooded areas, etc., but for how long? The land is flat as a pancake, so that would make it much easier to find a vehicle if they know the vehicle he might be using. He could be anywhere by now.
IMO, an innocent man would not be missing for over 24 hours...

So we wait...[/QUOTE]

... but not very long! They WILL get him!

Husband has 1st degree murder warrant outstanding against him. His whereabouts are unknown.

First-degree murder warrant issued for husband of slain Nash County woman :: WRAL.com
“The Nash County Sheriff's Office said Friday it has issued a first-degree murder warrant for the husband of a woman who disappeared before her body was found a few days ago.“

ETA: oops. Looks like I was a couple of pages & a few hours behind.:(

You know what, I'd rather that he languish in prison.

This is hypothetical of course, but if he is the kind of person that could possibly kill 2 women, he has outlasted his existence. I don’t think psychopaths/sociopaths suffer the way we would think they would-they have no conscience, & they would probably be quite happy in prison,

As a matter of fact, I remember that very notion coming up in the case of convicted sociopaths/psychopaths. It was said by mental health professionals and forensic specialists that they don't mind it so much after all. They get to be "model prisoners."

So, let him do the job himself.

Here's one more:

Why weren't they monitoring him after they let him go?

I think they know where he is (IMO).
I’m puzzled by the latest turn of events.

Last updated about 21 hours ago:

Investigators said Lynn Keel is not under any restrictions at this time.

‘We've not got any tracking or anything of that nature, and he's been very cooperative throughout all of this,’ [Sheriff Keith] Stone said.

‘Every time we've tried to get up with him, we've got up with him. We've been in communications with him.‘“ (BBM)
'Overwhelming support' seen after Nash County mom's death, sheriff says

When I read the above, I just assumed he was trying to get Lynn Keel to relax and make a mistake.

Part of me is still wondering if that could be the case but can’t think of a reason as to why.

I am very concerned about the 10-year-old’s safety.

ETA:
Robert Richardson on Twitter

“Thursday, the @NashCountySO told me Lynn Keel was cooperating, and deputies were not tracking Keel's whereabouts.

Now, deputies are trying to find Keel and hoping for tips location, as he is charged with the murder of his wife Diana.
