Lisa Moy went missing in Australia. The Jane Doe was found in NC.
The Jane also has what looks like very blue eyes. Lisa's eyes are listed as green hazel, but look more like a light brown to me.

Even though she's in jail, it seems they would have given more information. Need height and all those particulars. Hmmmm:waitasec:

I wonder if her image has been run through TinEye yet?

Erratic/criminal/imposer people always giving the law enforcement/official hard time by using alias/unknown names when ask for info. They don't want to reveal their name as file record. She'll eventually to be found by someone that knows her/her name. It's really pain in the *advertiser censored* when the troublemaker would doing that way. It happens from anywhere.

KLCD620,
I think we all know that there are people who fake amnesia for whatever nefarious reasons. If nobody ever tried to identify any of them the ones who have legitimately lost their own identities might never be identified. I try to ignore the fact that there are so many scammers out there and treat them all as legit until it is proven otherwise.

Just my own opinion and .02.

She looks to have a slight drooping to the left side of her face could be TIA (transient ischemic attack) mini strokes which can make them disorientated and incorrigible at times.
Specially if their personality is that way to begin with :)
From her appearance doesn't seem to be completely lucid..

There's no mention of Jane Doe missing a finger and according to Augat's narrative, one of her fingers was found six days after her disappearance.

Well yeah, the finger business is part of what I meant by "distinguishing marks".

I wish I knew on what basis the finger was identified, DNA or by appearance.

Interesting...never have heard of Augat's case...is there a WS thread for her?

I just did a search. She has been mentioned here twice...

Once in a "no discussion" thread, as a possible victim of Gary M Hilton

Once in a "strangest unsolved cases" thread.

No real discussion about her, either time.

I'd say the biggest likelyhood based on the circumstances is that Augat is dead, but she is far more likely to not be dead and merely to have been hanging out on the margins of society than any other woman who disappeared under similar circumstances and didn't have a history of erratic thinking and behavior, and didn't have a history of the sort of petty crime that can support a person in hiding. And if she did resurface alive, that living Doe is maybe the sort of person she could be.

My apologies, I didn't mean to imply you hadn't read the narrative, reasypeasy. I hope the finger in the Augat case was identified by DNA. Charley Project says her fingernails were painted coral and the "right middle fingertip with the nail painted red" was found. Does this mean she repainted her nails before somehow losing the fingertip?

I thought Jane Doe looked a bit like Pam Biggers (1-27-08, FL) but on second thought I don't think she could have aged so much, even if she has been homeless for two and a half years as her family has suggested she might be.

There's nobody listed as "Jane Doe" on the Detainee list for the Pitt County Detention Center, but I cannot find any mention of her being identified or released, either.

That's OK. I didn't mean to get snippy. I guess I sort of hope it is Diane Augat because if it is, her family get good news and Diane probably gets mental health help.

I agree with you that the aging of the Doe is more than you'd expect Pam to show. Pam looks as though she hasn't had any bad sunburns in her life and maybe not even many suntans, especially in pictures like this you can see the inside of her upper arms looks like it has never seen the sun, ever
http://findpambiggers.com/Documents/PamWithJakeBootcamp.pdf
but the sort of sun spots the Doe has over her upper body are most commonly seen in people who spent a lot of time outdoors in hot summers without much clothing as kids, or on the backs of the hands of people who live in very sunny climates. A dermatologist looks at skin likes that and sees future skin cancer. I'm not sure it is possible for someone with non-sundamaged skin to catch up with that level of weatherbeaten look just by living rough a few years... if Pam decided to spend a couple of years tanning she'd likely end up looking like older, but not spotty unless she did it for a decade.
