Recovered/Located NC - Heather Stiles, 20, May be traveling with "Hugo Castillo", Beaufort County, 15 July 2019

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them find a missing woman, and a man she may be traveling with.

Deputies say 20-year-old Heather Stiles left her home on Cypress Shores Road in Washington, on Monday around Noon, and she has not been heard from since.

Stiles is described as 5’ 2” tall, weighing 110 pounds, with dark brown hair.

She was last seen wearing black jeans, a maroon shirt, and pink and white tennis shoes.

It is believed she may have been traveling on foot to Wal Mart in Washington to pick up money sent to her by a man she met on the internet, possibly named “Hugo Castillo,” and she may be headed to Houston, Texas.

Heather’s family believes she has a learning disability and can be easily taken advantage of.

That walk to WalMart would be a 2 hour walk in the hot, hot south. I personally wonder if this was just a ruse to draw her out by someone not so far away. JMOO

TY for the map, @KatzEye! I had the same thought as you. If it really was a man from Houston, Texas, I don't think he would have sent her money for a ticket. He probably would have arranged for her travel. So the fact that she was supposed to get the cash sent by him makes the situation seem like a ruse, possibly by a local person. JMO
