IMO, the 'motive' was control. Scott lost control of Kelly, she was leaving him (from all indications and for good this time), and IF he couldn't have her, no one would. These cases seriously just break my heart. So many women, children, and the women's families, destroyed because of one person's selfishness and control issues. So many young women, erased................JMHO

I think control is always the motive. We know their marriage was failing and she had already left once. I'm sure he wasn't going to let her leave again. When my sister was making plans to leave her husband, that is when he decided to kill her. I've heard similar stories too many times.
I know Kelly's father said he had asked if Scott had ever hurt her and she said "No." I would not be surprised to find out that he, in fact, had. Too often these victims don't want to tell anyone--even close family.
Bolded by me--you stated it so perfectly, fran. :blowkiss:

Am hoping to see Nancy Grace do some more coverage of this story this next week. I know they are getting more media inquiries. Hopefully, it will help bring answers to all the questions and bring Kelly home where she belongs. What a wonderful family this is, and the community has gone all out in supporting them.

Prayers to the Currin family and Kelly's 2 girls.

Did your sister's husband carry through with her murder, kidz?

Thank you for the link! I wish so badly that I could have been there. I'll be out this weekend searching if I'm needed.

I know how grateful the Currin family is for your support. This is such a dedicated group of folks that have come together to look for Kelly, and I have grown so attached to them. Thank you for all you are doing to support this wonderful, loving family.

I hate to leave this week, but if needed, will be back. I'll be checking in on a daily basis with the family and friends, and they all know how to contact me if they need/want to.

My heart is aching tonight, as it has done for several weeks since I became involved in this case. I have shed many tears for Kelly and her family, and will shed many more, I am sure. My prayers and my blessings stay with them, along with a part of my heart.

Stay strong ! There remains much to be done, and the Lord is on your side.

Bumping for Kelly. Does anyone know anything new??

It seems like everything just went quiet. I wish Nancy Grace would follow up. I think the Hudson murders took the spotlight. Maybe after the election,Greta will get back to doing what Greta does best which is stories like this.

I saw on the noon WRAL news that two new search warrants have been filed. One is for Scott Morris' bank records and one is for Kelly's email account.

The story is not online yet.

Yes, it's gotten quiet since TES suspended the search for Kelly to look for Caylee. I hope they will resume the search, or there will be other developments.

Bumping for Kelly. Last time I bumped we got news of the new search warrants. Here's hoping my luck will hold out today as well and we'll hear of an arrest!!!!

Yes! I cannot wait to get Greta and Mark F. back on the right track for the missing and murdered. While I have to give NG her due for not allowing her show to turn into a political forum, I prefer Greta's approach to the stories.
