Like many people who simply seem to vanish into thin air, this case is chilling and heartbreaking.
The phone calls made to his father's office at such an early time in the morning when he knew nobody would be there add that extra element to this case that makes it stick out. That, plus it does have all the elements associated with the so called Smiley Face Killings (I know not everyone believes that theory, though I think there are WAY too many young men who have gone missing from bars across the country only to be found in or near bodies of water for it to be just a coincidence).
I think sometimes, unfortunately, the obvious explanation is the correct one: I feel that Kyle unfortunately met the wrong person or people that fateful morning and was murdered; the body was obviously disposed of very successfully. It would be great for his family to have closure, so I hope they keep searching.
