I'm wondering the same. I suppose it must be something like in that state preventing someone from leaving from a place/situation warrants a kidnapping charge too. We will see. I'm intrigued.
Yes, that's it -- holding someone against their wishes/will. Every now & then I will see a kidnapping charge against someone who is also charged with armed robbery -- it's usually when victims are held at gunpoint in a quick shop or fast food place or something like that.
