This case was uploaded into NamUs yesterday. Hopefully they'll update it with more details in the next 24-48 hours. It's very close to where I grew up, so I'm gonna keep an eye on it.

UPDATE: I spoke via email to one of the forensics members this morning. As it turns out, this John Doe was believed to be the homeowner of said residence in which he was found; he just hadn't been seen or heard from in ages. A wellness check was conducted to confirm if he was alive or deceased.

His NamUs case is still up, but they found out pretty quickly who he was.
