If that's the case and he admitted to killing her, why wasn't he charged with murder? Or maybe that's coming today?

The article I posted above says more charges expected today... and we can be sure murder will be one of them, presumably for both McNeill AND AD.

Also, bugging me, is why Sheniya's last name is Davis:waitasec:, especially if she only had limited contact with the mother?The other children have the last name Lockhart. It is painfully obvious from all the pictures of this beautiful child, how well taken care of she was, how she exhibited the privileges of being well-groomed and loved by her father and his family, which is such a startling contrast to the element in which her mother lived. The difference in these two worlds, had to produce resentment,from this mother, who was working two jobs, and living with her sister in a trailer. This envy would also would explain a huge disconnect from the mother to Shaniya, and why I feel she should never have been left in that environment without supervised visits.

The other children have the name Lockhart because he was married to their mom who did die of an ailment.
Shaniya was born out of wedlock from a one night stand and from what I understand only the mothers name was on her BC.
The mother did not work 2 jobs, but only Part Time based on her manager.
I have not been able to catch up with all the threads because I only learned of this tragedy yesterday, but I did real a lot. (it is too hard to absorb it all)
so anyone feel free to jump in and add to this.

My guess is that if they have video of him entering the hotel/motel with her in his arms at 6:11 AM then they more than likely have video of him exiting at 7:30 AM.

Either they are refusing to comment on her condition in that second video or they could not see Shaniya clearly (meaning that her face was obscured by a blanket etc...)

I do think it is important that LE has stated that they know MAM and Shaniya left the hotel at 7:30 AM.

Just my two cents.

You read that Brad's wife died do to an ailment? Someone else had a link here that she was murdered during a break in.

The problem with your theory is that there are pictures of Shaniya at the hotel and she doesn't appear to have any significant injuries that would lead to her death.

It doesnt "Appear" to be any ,Thats true but that doesnt mean there WASN'T any injuries to and on her body. JMO.It was said that A.D was MAD at Shaniya for fighting with her cousins, So MAYBE she punished her for that and hurt her. MHO.

Seriously there are a lot of information that we do not know and there is a lot of knowledge that will come from the autopsy. Assumptions are being made that Shaniya was murdered on the same day that she was reported missing - we do not know that.

We do not know the time and date of death. We do not know how long Shaniya lived after being walked out of that hotel room at 7:30am (as reported by the news). We simply do not know where Shaniya was from 7:30am tht morning to when she was found yesterday by searchers.

We do not know who gave the credible information to search in the area where Shaniya was found.

My opinion is that both AD and MAM would willingly throw anybody under the bus to try and wiggle out from the charges they are facing. They are both stone faced liars with brass balls to go along with the lies.

The autopsy results and findings will be the tell all and until then everything between 7:30am the morning Shaniya went missing to when she was found yesterday is totally unknown. 7:30am is the last sighting reported by the media and Shaniya was reported alive at that time.

Even if there was another buyer, and Shaniya was found by McNeill afterward eg very seriously injured, overdosed or worse, he could be the one who either did not seek to render aid or who at the very least disposed of poor Shaniya... I haven't ruled out an additional person being involved who may have rented the room and never even risked being seen w Shaniya. Sadly, while it may have been McNeill, this other scenario would not surprise me either at this point. JMO

They are confirming that Shaniya was alive when she left the hotel room at 7:30am that morning:

Shaniya Davis was alive when she left a Sanford motel, Fayetteville police said this morning in a news release.

Thank you Shamrock that is important to know. I hope that the autopsy reveals her time of death. IIRC, there are times that it can be difficult to pinpoint the tod but I can't remember what variables and factors go into making it difficult in some cases.

OT: I'm following here today because we had been watching on TV for the past week, and my Husband was so upset by her death that he got a headache last night and had to lay down. I'm trying to keep up for him here, so he doesn't have to watch the coverage. Shaniya's murder is an atrocity, an outrage. IMHO.

I have a question...

Did MAM rent the room himself? Or was he just seen on the video by the employee? Is there someone who was working at the front desk who talked to him? Or was he notified which room to go to by a phone call, etc? And just walked into the motel and straight to the elevator?

Yes I have been reading more as hard as it is to read it is even harder to tear myself away.

As far as the 1/2 sister smiling, it was definitely strange,
but some people laugh when they are very nervous.
I do NOT get it either, but I have seen it happen.

My 15 y/o does the same thing. To take it a step farther, if I add a cuss word while yelling at him, sometimes he'll just out & out laugh the lil sob! :biggrin: I was told it's a very normal nervous reaction. Tricia said it best when pertaining to this happening to spokespeople. She said this is why they need "professional" spokespeople to do the speaking, somebody that has experience speaking in certain venues.

You may be correct, I never read anything about a brake in at all. I am reading as fast as I can to try to catch up.
She did die and that is why the kids are with the grand mom.

I thought BL's (dad's) former wife died in a tragic killing... or am I confusing this? And it was reported somewhere (will try to find again) that AD claimed anyway to have worked a double shift when she recently became employed.

Yes it is very common. there was also a song long ago That spoke of the little clown laughing while his heart is braking All the way. I cant remember the name of it, it is a very old song, based on a common fact.

Unfortunately, it look like the dad was completely snowed by Momster's claims that she was getting her life together. She apparently lied about working two jobs, about having her "own" place to live (her application was denied and her sister had to apply) and about the drugs being found in the trailer by DSS. I feel so bad for him and he will live with his misplaced guilt the rest of his life.
